I just realized that the Fan Vid section has been created at last! I wanted to structure this section as a sort of library, so I will be titling each thread by artist. New vids should go under that person's thread.
From the New Kid on the Block:
Song choice/clip timing/transitions all excellent~

Caddywack has very kindly made another video for "Turn the Clock Back". This is song was used in one of my favorite pensierio videos (which may now be lost) - I liked it because it captures the terrible slide of Julia's bad decisions so well.
Caddywack, being a perfectionist, turned out another beautiful vid as well.

Caddywack is on a roll, and she is showing a very distinctive style with this video! I didn't think it was possible to do fan vids to downbeat music, but Caddywack shows it just requires some imaginative use of effects!
Another great one!!

Most excellent that someone did my request for a vid to Glory Box-one of my all time faves. Love, love, love this!

Having listened to more Portishead I have to say that some of their songs remind me of early Roxy Music album offerings - NOT the singles.

I LOVE Roxy Music! Though their beat is kind of dated now. Roxy Music has been my favourite group since I first heard them in, dare I say it, 1973. I was lying in bed listening to the radio one Sat morning, the DJ always played three songs from a new album. The album was For Your Pleasure. I got up and went into town with my dad that morning and bought the album. I've loved them ever since though I don't listen much these days. I've been to two concerts, had tickets for three but couldn't make it to one and went to see Bryan Ferry at Casino Rama in 2011. He was the coolest guy on the block for years, in fact it's because of Bryan Ferry that I started loving suits, he always looked so dapper.

Not that there aren't songs with great lyrics but there tend to be looong instrumental sections, I admit often with really great sax, but not sure this lends itself to videos. Andy Mackay plays the sexiest sax!!

This is the album from one of the concerts I went to, they did the best version of Sentimental Fool I've heard, hmm.... I like the moodier songs. I have the albums if I need to copy them for a song. I was thinking more of In Every Dream Home a Heartache but the words aren't quite what I'm looking for if you know them....
