I hope so - YB kind of got shafted for non-Murdoch work last year. How's that? For a Canadian actor, he's actually quite busy....... In the past he has had a number of B-movies, which are normally stepping stones to A-movies. He did get a new agent in Hollywood as well. Then I was surprised when nothing specifically came of that: but I think there has been some overwhelm involved regarding the 18-episode season for MM - especially the do-or-die way they film MM in one breakneck marathon sprint.

Just because it's done differently in the US doesn't make that the only way to do it! They have to get MM filmed whilst the weather's good. Canadians are used to working around the weather.

True, but in past seasons we've speculated on YB looking worn down and the increased difficulty of an 18-episode filming run being the reason.

Yes we have but how else do you suggest they do it given it has to be done in a short filming season?

Well didn't they already manage to change it somewhat by giving YB breaks in between filming runs?

They had a hiatus and a break for MIPCOM but there will be no MIPCOM this year, it's a biannual event I believe. Maybe they'll have a second hiatus.

YB also mentioned they were giving him structured mini-vacations so he wouldn't get worn down. I can't remember where I read that, but YB himself brought it up, and IIRC the first break was a trip to California.
