I know I ask this every year, but I am going to ask it again as I have a bunch of new young Murdoch fans who would love to tour the Scarborough set. So, here is my question . . . I know they used to have an open house for Murdoch fans, and then it was changed to just a dinner. Do they still have public tours of the Scarborough set? Also, is there going to be anywhere I could bring my new fans to a meet and greet, and maybe get some autographs? Thanks in advance for any help.

They haven't done the set tours for a couple of years now, and I doubt if they will as they had a few issues with the last couple, mostly due, I believe, because response had become overwhelming. However, you never know......
BTW, the dinner, or MME, was a fan run event, and the set tours were independent of it. The tours were run by the production company, Shaftsbury. They were kind enough to coordinate them on the same weekend, so that people coming into Toronto for the event would also have the opportunity to tour the set.

I'm sure I've missed this somewhere but, Sir, has something happened to Jonny Harris? I had read about Thomas Craig's absence from a few shows but I haven't seen anything about Jonny's absence.
TIA.

TIA. Jonny is occasionally missing due to his other show, Still Standing.

season 11 episode 16. Has anyone noticed what Miss Hart did? She was curious about Julia's pregnancy, sniffed her glass of water then looked at the envelope. then in the next couple of scenes Miss Hart handed her a glass of water. It the next episode Julia losses the baby. I believe there is something up with her. She wants to get closer to the Detective. She is also lying.

It the next episode Julia losses the baby. I believe there is something up with her. She wants to get closer to the Detective. She is also lying. It wouldn't serve Violet Hart's purpose to harm Julia. Without the baby she has no reason to take a leave of absence from the morgue and so give Miss Hart a chance at her job. Now Miss Hart has to come up with another excuse for getting rid of her so she can take her place. If you look at what Julia was drinking it was opaque, what Miss Hart gave her was clear. If it had tasted different Julia wouldn't have drunk it. Miss Hart has ambitions beyond her capabilities, she's not a doctor, and even though you don't need to be a doctor to be a coroner (even today) you do to be a pathologist and the work done in the morgue is definitely pathology.

I agree with Hodge there is something very suspicious about the way Violet gave that drink to Julia then checked the envelope. Blatantly obvious? She was disappointed to see Julia return to work so soon after her miscarriage and had gone out of her way to be efficient and even indisposable. With Julia back Violet views her as an obstacle to her ambitions. We will see. She is devious and had a look of mischief on her face when handing Julia the drink.Yes, she has her eye on Julia's job and Julia's husband.......will be interesting to see this storyline unfold.... That is MM for you so intriguing and so full of mystery. Love it and can't wait for season 12

I don't like Violet Hart. I don't like Ruth Newsome or her brothers. I don't like the return of Clegg or Meyers. I didn't like the absences of Brackenreid and Crabtree. Season 11 was a great disappointment compared to other seasons. It contains many boring, dark and hard-to-follow episodes. I hope Season 12 - which is already filming - is an improvement. I don't understand why there was no explanation of the survival of James Pendrick from Panama after Brackenreid received the postcard from him. Some of the stories involving Pendrick and other scientific activities are very hard to follow or appreciate, and appear too far-fetched that tend to turn the series into a campy type of story that leads it to unrealistic science fiction.

I must admit I have never missed a single episode from the start. Season 11 started slowly and I have kept with it hoping for a spark of life, but it never came. It's almost like the actors have got bored, or maybe it's the writers who have ran out of ideas. I will continue to watch but with the hope that an injection of life is put back into the stories. Looking back over the years, the most exciting episodes were when Murdoch lost his memory and Lisa Faulkener hid him until his memory returned. That was nail biting, there's been nothing that suspenseful since.

It wouldn't serve Miss Hart's agenda for Julia to miscarry as she now has to come up with another excuse for her to become the pathologist. Which she can't do because she's not qualified but that doesn't mean she won't try.

The final episode was by far the best of this series.

Hi, this is my first post. From reading others' posts, I see I am very new to tv MM as a fan, though am loving it. Also here in Australia, we are a long long way behind in MM seasons and episodes, and it seems like a bit of an odd timetable for how the network is televising what they have. We get 3 hours straight in one go, once a week, usually with two newer (ie, as yet unseen)episodes first, then an oldie in the third timeslot. Am very tempted to just buy the whole lot. But don't worry, spoilers don't bother me. I've read all of Maureen Jennings' MM books. While I'm grateful for her invention of the idea and characters, I don't enjoy her writing really. As someone connected with MM the tv show has said, [the books are] 'too Dickens, not enough Jules Verne'. The books depressed me a bit. Whereas I love the show, and really LOVE the dashing Inspector Brackenreid. Very fond of all the characters I guess. The ladies do a wonderful job. I am jealous of Mr Bisson's eyelashes. Best regards to everyone, cast, crew, writers, fellow fans etc. RC
