They have been showing the finale advert since the weekend for some reason. Brackenreid doesn't believe William is guilty is another bit in the ad.

They stole The kissing bandit from The Flintstones (Only joking) I haven't heard Brackenreid yell, "Bloody hell Murdoch" recently.
Now then, Darcy is suspicious. Ruby knows doesn't she? Brackenreid knows doesn't he? The only two who don't know is Julia and William.

I am surprised George hasn't thrown his two cents worth as well. I expect George to say something next week.

Yeah I think the Alibi episode guide says Station 4 is trying to prove their favorite detective is innocent. I hope Julia is the one who presents the evidence to clear his name. I bet George will say something to William next week, too. Ooh I'm so impatient. And I'll be away next week so I might have to wait to watch it!

Like in previous years, they'll be repeating them several times. Never mind I always watch the repeats and enjoy them just as much.

Any word on if there is a S5?
I was also wondering about the books. I know Julia is in them but does she actually date William in them? and did he end with her or someone else in the last book? I am really curious but I don't want to get the last book as I don't like reading books out of order in the series.

i don't know about S5 being announced but i can help you with your other question. i haven't personally read the books but i know someone who has and i believe Julia is actually an older lady and they have nothing to do with each other romantically at all. he dates some bohemian kind of school teacher though. i don't remember if that's who he ends up with though.

Here's what the author's husband said on the Alibi board: "The reason for the delay again in CANADA is that the broadcaster has a number of shows under contract that get simulcast from the US. If the show from the US suddenly gets switched to a different time slot, the broadcaster in Canada is under contract to air it at that time. Alas, anything that is planned gets moved, which in this case is Murdoch. They love the show, the Prime Minister does a cameo this year, so it will air on May 31. With regards to season 5 we hope to hear soon. The producers are working hard at finalizing everything. Keep thinking good thoughts about that."

Thanks for the S5 info. Looks Like it will happen i don't know about S5 being announced but i can help you with your other question. i haven't personally read the books but i know someone who has and i believe Julia is actually an older lady and they have nothing to do with each other romantically at all. he dates some bohemian kind of school teacher though. i don't remember if that's who he ends up with though. Interesting choice of Julia then as the love interest in the movies/tv show. I wonder if tv Julia is a mix of book Julia and book school teacher. That way they could have a woman on the show as part of the force and as a love interest.

yeah probably lifeisridic. also a lot shows nowadays like the main characters to be involved because it's simpler than having some other person that we don't know much about and doesn't have much to do with the overall storyline.
i was worried for awhile that he was going to end up with Enid because he didn't date Julia at all in the books. i would have been forced to stop watching had that been the case.

The show is different from the books though, so in the show Julia is the one for him. Infact it had been heading that way since the tv movies.

has anybody else wondered if maybe the victim in the last episode is Darcy, and maybe that's part of why William is accused?
the thought crossed my mind, but I can't see Julia then having a wedding, even with William, right after her fiance is killed.... oh well, just trying to break up Julia and Darcy, I guess!

That thought had crossed my mind but like you said it would be a bit soon for Julia to marry William in the same episode!

Yes, I wonder who the victim is. It has to be someone close enough to William that they would think he'd hate them enough to kill. But Darcy doesn't make sense, shame it isn't him though lol
