Thanks for the link. I love your work but I tend to find it randomly on YT. Do you take requests? We've been discussing "dark places" in the psyches of William and Julia and I heard Kelly Clarkson's "Dark Side" in the car the other day. Just thought they'd be a good match but I have none of your skills whatsoever. |

Already added this vid to my Buzzfeed thingy, and I just posted to Reddit. Have to race off to pick up my Mom at the airport in an hour though. I'll only be able to check in sporadically this week.  Bummer, because I want to post how my Mom responds to Season 7, which she knows NOTHING about yet, hahahaha. I can't wait to gather her comments on Jilliam first. She better be done with Season 6! |

So you'll be compensating by staying up half the night of the forum while mom is asleep! You might be surprised...I got georgeisclairvoyant going during one weekend when we went to a concert then she heard me laughing over some of the posts. It wasn't long after the psychic thing either so I was still pretty pumped.
I know your mom doesn't have a computer but she might be interested to know that her daughter has climbed well up Mount Olympus! Tell her your MM forum friends wish her a happy holiday!

I don't think I'll be able to get away with it the way the space is arranged, hahaha. Anyway, I'll post what I can. I do want to keep the forum going during the summer hiatus and hopefully attract some more people here. Still hoping my little Buzzfeed salvo will take off. Anyway, off to get Mom. Will be watching Murdoch Ahoy tonight unless we decide to go out to eat. I bought some nice Riesling to go with the fine choice in TV viewing.  |

The coolest thing is this vaguely reminds me of the iconography of The Prisoner. Since the homburg is also a symbol of soulless bureaucracy in modernity (and a big deal for the surrealists), I wonder if this was deliberate on the part of the writers. I guess the police may have ridden bikes back then - but was it that prominent in Maureen Jennings books? |

I just read the first book and as far as I can recall no bike was even mentioned. |
