George Crabtree was a foundling.
He eventually finds his mother in "Big Murderer on Campus".
He seems to have a bazillion and one aunts, all of them named after a flower.
He has an excitable cousin.

Yeah, I imagine his aunts are not biological since he had trouble finding his mother. They are probably related to the people who looked after him or were charitable ladies who took him under his wing. He has very good hearing, eyesight and memory.

-Born in early 1867 -Left on the doorstep of a church and raised by the Reverend and his family. Moved to NL in 1870 or so and returned to Toronto when he was 16. -Has a penchant for 'creating' future ideas -Has many strange theories and believes in all manner of supernatural phenomenon and creatures. Is particularly fascinated with ghosts but doesn't believe in lake monsters. -Is the author of at least one hit novel, The Curse of the Lost Pharaohs. Possibly wrote an erotic novelette which may or may not have ever been seen by anyone other than himself and Henry. -Is smooth with the ladies, dousing himself in lavender smelling bath salts in order to be more Godly. -Courted Dr. Grace between 1899 and 1901. Currently courting Edna Garrison. -Seems to know an awful lot about feminine products and such. Probably the result of having a bajillion aunts. These are not real aunts mind you but prostitutes. -Extremely loyal and protective of Murdoch. Probably thinks of him as a father figure or at least a mentor. Aspires to be like Murdoch one day. -Has an appetite for 'exotic' foods and is very hip and with it in regards to current cultural things -Very good at picking out stocks (such as Coca Cola). If he put money in those, he will be a very rich man one day soon.

Wasn't there an episode where George claims to be better at developing/manipulating photos than Murdoch? He was talking to Henry Higgins, and I believe he was creating a fake photo to run in the newspaper.

George says it in Big Murder on Campus. Well he doesn't say it, it's written in his advertisement to his biological mother. So based on the FB timeline, George is 6 years younger than Murdoch and all of them where born before Confederation.

He was born in or before March of 1867 and it's currently June or July of 1902, so yes, he's 35 and Murdoch is 41, or very close to it. Good luck with everyone else's ages. They've never given dates for them. I've just been guessing Julia is a few years younger than Murdoch and Emily is late twenties maybe and Brax is maybe a decade older than Murdoch.

Right now I'm only planning on listing the birthday/years we actually know. As this reduces the amount of speculation in the timeline, as it's bad enough we have to deal with Brax's inconsistencies *sobs*.

You know, because there's not enough discontinuity going on.

Yes, it's hard to know which year to use, book William is born in 1863, show William in 1861 according the the timeline on the MurdochOnCBC fb page. But then they use 1876 as the year his mother died which would make him 15, in the show he's 8, I think I've also heard 11 somewhere, in Shipwreck she's still alive when he's 12. I think if we're talking about the show then we need to use only the dates/ages used in the show. I'm wondering what they'll do with the Shipwreck episode as far as age goes and if his mother will still be alive. We may have even more confusion after that.

Not sure they actually did make him older as we've never heard anything about his birthday in the show, just on the timeline which is wrong on other things. I vote for making him younger but that throws off George's character a bit as I get the impression he's supposed to be a few years younger.
