Some day I, too, shall have gadgets. I was never bothered about a smartphone until I had to change providers due to no service when we moved. Well, there was service, if you stood in the middle of the road. I didn't think that would work very well . Sooo, we went to get a new provider and I was going to get a basic phone and my daughter talked me into the latest (at that time). I wouldn't be w/o it now, it's attached to my person. My phone, my calendar, my mp3 player, my book reader, my camera (if I don't have a real one with me) and my photo gallery - such as it is as there's nothing personal in there. I've finally been dragged into the 21st century. You are so far ahead of my phone abilities...I'm going to have to get you to show me some of those functions. I have a Galaxy S4, my first touchscreen, but the rest of my peeps have iphones.

I don't do I-anything. I don't believe in paying for an image when they're no better than other gadgets. All the iproducts are too hyped. If only we could create that kind of mania for MM. I hate the way the touchscreen on the iphone seems to wiggle and the way its autocorrect works is ridiculous. I was a BB girl for years because of the qwerty keys but it was my hairdresser who let me play with her S4 while my colour was processing that swayed me. I was having fits because my previous phone was way overdue for an upgrade and I don't have great faith in the future of BB. I haven't looked back. Now I'm looking at Samsung tablets because that's what I want for my MM location adventure which has been postponed to next spring due to unforeseen circumstances . The upside is I will have the winter to figure out how to accomplish what I want to do with the pics. My kids were just laughing at me because I am hopeless with the simplest things even on my laptop.

Wa, and now I wish I had cellphone just so I could have the MM theme as a ringtone. How did you do that? I loaded the theme into the player on the phone then went into ringtones and selected it. Simple as that. My phone's my mp3 player and I use it in the car via bluetooth, very handy. Ok I have to try that! I have the satanic iPhone. If I download the theme on iTunes could I make it my ringtone? I have an iPhone because it is user friendly. My daughter has a Mac book and an iPhone and she will never go back. They are so easy to use together yes we know there are limits and that this stuff is overhyped and overpriced. But I can't stand Our PC: it is too complicated for my addled brain.

It is the muscle car where you get under the hood and see all the little "gadgets" that run your computer. You feel more pro if you take on the challenges of the PC!

No idea about iPhone but probably similar.

I went to Mackinac Island in Michigan last year and took over 200 pics on my BB. They were terrific and better than anything our fairly old camera can do.

Hubby is something of a tech guru and when we got together, he stated that if I wanted him to deal with my tech issues, I was going to have to switch. There's just the 2 of us and yet by my count there are 14 Apple devices in this household-of course of 5 of those are our old iPhones...and this doesn't count the stuff we've gotten rid of. We have a problem. Hubby, who is sensible and frugal in almost every other area, goes nuts when they introduce a new product in Cupertino. MM is my crack, shiny Mac gadgets are his.
