I'm excited to see the pics of her pups. I'm assuming that's you in the show photos. Yes, so now you'll recognize me on the tour. I've got you and eus in my van for the tour. By the way, I think we can use this for the Map Project: novelsonlocation.com/I just need a list of all the locations - perhaps with some description of why they are important to MM.

I'd done Forever Knight location tours of Toronto years ago and didn't mind organizing this. Several people were interested in doing a location tour they just needed someone to get it together. Someone else that knows the filming sites put together the route and will be leading us around. It's amazing how many people have snippets of the big picture but it takes the MM family to put it all together! I've joined the MMAS. It looks like everyone in the photo already has an invite to the Nov. 3 event courtesy of Pendrick Arrow. Are they real invites or wishful thinking? If members of an FB group really get advanced tickets to things, that would really frost my cookies. It is a social media black hole, and in this case privileges a small group of fans at the expense of other obviously just as dedicated fans. Grrr. If there is "special privileges" going on, there should have been an old fashioned mailing list that anyone with email could subscribe to - not just limited to people who use FB.

I wouldn't know where to start. Maybe I'm approaching the whole thing backwards but my idea is to use the screencap to find the location address and then add it to a map with the relevant title and blurb. I have no idea what most of these addresses are. The energy goes into recon in each town where you talk to the residents who have that knowledge. Southern Ontario is actually quite spread out. It's a 5 hour drive from here to Windsor/Detroit. Most of the towns used for filming are found within a circle of 70-100 miles of a center point that is 3 hours from here. I know carco can help with Galt/Cambridge and maybe Kitchener and Guelph. Talbotrail is even further west and I have family in Brantford. It's still a lot of ground to cover. Did I say I like a challenge?

Did I say I like a challenge? Don't worry, I know how to use that. I just need a list of all the street locations, and perhaps some descriptions - your tour combined with Talbotrail's. You can put it in a Word doc. I think we can add additional screen caps to this later, but lets enter the info for the initial map first. You're doing your part with the recon - I'm happy to enter the data to construct the initial map itself. I believe once we have the base map, which is based on Google Maps (so it will have Street View, too), anybody will be able to add annotations and print out "tour maps". Ps. This is my understanding - I hope this app lives up to what I'm saying, lol.

I'm old school. Give me a map, a pen, ruler and some tape and I'm the tour goddess!

Could you put all the tour address info in a Word doc And perhaps some screenshots in a folder Then zip the folder ("George" can show you how to do that) and email it to me. I can give you an email in PM.

Send me the email and give me a couple of days for the Toronto pics.

Did I say I like a challenge? Debbie Salisbury is leading the Hamilton tour. She knows most if not all the filming locations in Hamilton. She stumbles on them as she's driving around. I don't think we're going to all of them on the tour, some are just not convenient for driving and parking.

That's a beautiful web site! Did you make it? I love the black puppies! I'm not even a dog person, but I want one of the black puppies. Save one for me one day. Yes I did the website, I used to be into that kind of thing. Not much interest now. The black Pugs are different, not as popular as people aren't familiar with them. They've got slightly different personalities too, more 'impish' if you understand the term. They don't do as well at the shows as the judges don't know what to do with them....

While I've place a first "pin" on the map project: novelsonlocation.com/locations/except-the-dying-murdoch-mysteriesI want to hold off on doing any more until I talk to the app developer about seeing if I can get a rubric "Murdoch Mysteries" instead of having to develop the map in a way that links with a specific book. But if you click on that, you can get an idea about what we can do to develop it. And it can be a group project anyone can add to, like a wiki. But wait until I can see if we can get a "Murdoch Mysteries" map to anchor the pins to.

No one likes the black pugs?! I should think those would be the most popular, since they'd match bohemian black wardrobe, lol. Impish sounds wonderful, but I suppose that's just until the little imp breaks everything in your house, hahaha. I'd love to keep the little imp in my pocket as a puppy. Is that allowed?
