You can post spoilers in this thread, that is why I cannot read any of the past pages until it starts in the UK... aha

I'm waiting for the episodes in the UK. If I can hold out. I couldn't resist reading the W/J spoilers though lol. I just scan the posts until I see their names, I blank all the other info so as not to ruin the crime plots.

Another heads up, I posted a link under the episode thread for all you non-Canadians. Thx so much... I depend on this forum & notices to keep up with Murdoch Mysteries. I am in USA and have to download episodes from torrents to be able to view it. Can't believe they don't make this series available for USA!

Liza? She died, but he could be dreaming of her, I suppose. She has light red hair though and didn't look like this woman at all.

Well in the preview it looks like some psycho has taken Murdoch hostage and is gonna torture him with visual stimuli. Maybe whatever the kidnapper shows Murdoch will trigger a bunch of nightmares for him. Ie. He's kissing Liza but then she tries to kill him or something.
From what I recall, I thought Liza had brown hair? But I could be wrong. And since this is just a webseries, the chances that they'd get the same actress to play the role aren't very high.

Yeah, she doesn't look like her at all. I would bet she's some new chick who is sort of like the woman in Curse of the Lost Pharaohs who tried to seduce George. She's probably the villain or the villain's henchmistress.

I was not disappointed! First episode was great. But...... Julia getting a divorce seems to be too easy. I don't think it's going to go as smoothly as they think. And of course Murdoch just had to be the 1st man to fly. Loved it.

No one has agreed to a divorce. Julia was advised by her lawyer to get an annulment, which Darcy has apparently agreed to. It remains to be seen whether they will be able to obtain one, however.

Okay...legalese here.
An annulment is NOT a divorce. A Divorce is NOT an annulment.
A divorce basically says:
"We were married once, but not anymore. In the past, yeah, maybe. BUT NOT NOW".
An annulment says:
"Marriage? What marriage? We never had...we don't need no stinkin' marriage! Never happened, not now, not never!"
The difference between these two? A divorce acknowledges a previous relationship, and there may be kiddies involved. It's also an admittance that your marriage fell apart.
In Victorian times, failing at marriage was a BIG social taboo. Especially if you were of the upper-class, such as Dr. Ogden. It could speak volumes about you. As a man, you failed to pleasure or provide for your wife. As a wife, you failed to obey your husband, or keep a respectable home.
An annulment is basically saying that the marriage never existed in the first place.
Oooh...okay. Meh. Never mind. Forget it ever happened. You go your way, I go my way. Ciao!
The only issue here is, for an annulment to look like that, you can't have had any produce of marriage (AKA - fat, screaming babies), as that would be proof of intimacy, and marriage.
So long as there was no consumation of this sort (not likely with Dr. Ogden not being able to have kids), an annulment was likely to be granted.
