Huh, I had not heard about that. We'll look forward to his role though! Well, they've wrapped up filming S6 today! This was tweeted by CBC MM: twitter.com/CBCMurdoch

I don't know, Tanya Lemke, who works on the show tweeted that they'd finished and then CBC retweeted it. But I look forward to seeing it all!

I've just found this online: " In series six of the one-hour drama, Detective Murdoch tries to clear the name of a young Winston Churchill after his visit to Canada goes awry; a dangerous madman threatens to unleash a deadly toxic gas attack; and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle makes an appearance when his supposedly fictional creation, Detective Sherlock Holmes, becomes entangled in a violent robbery." I'm assuming that's Andrew Gower's part! mip.itvstudios.com/programmes/drama-comedy/681/murdoch-mysteries

Has anyone else seen the S6 finale title, "The Murdoch Trap?" At first I thought of the Parent Trap. Any idea what it could be a play on and what the story is about?

Wasn't season six supposed to start by now? I know that CBC took on the show and that the cityline channels are not going to be running the new season, but if I'm right, the episodes that CBC is bringing aren't the new ones. Or do I have something mixed up? Well, regardless, in season six I hope that Murdoch and Julia will finally be together, this back and forth thing is getting confusing. Also, I hope that George and Dr. Grace also get together, they have even better chemistry then George does with Ruby. Other then that, I can't really say for certain. Most likely more sleuthing and detective work on Murdoch's part, Dr. Ogden will probably continue her coroner's work, more yelling, dictating, criticizing and drinking on Brackenreids part, and finally, more sleuthing, assisting Murdoch, enthusiasm, and creative ideas on George's part. That is my prediction for season six.

Oh really? Oh, I thought that once it switched to CBC they would start to right away with season six. Then again I guess it is more practical, this way people remember what had happened before. Well thanks for clearing that up

Yeah, a lot of people were confused by CBC's strategy of showing S5 first. If they wanted to catch everyone up, they should have shown the whole series up through S5. If you started watching the show at S5, you'd be very confused. Julia won't be the coroner anymore, that's Dr. Grace now. Julia will be a psychologist at the start of S6.

Yeah, I don't know which season it was that I started watching with, but I do know that there are plenty of the older episodes that I haven't seen yet or don't know about. But thankfully I've seen most of the newer episodes. And I agree with your point about CBC's strategy, still don't get why they did that. But maybe they didn't have enough time to play the entire series over again so they just reran the last season. That could be why
