Yet another episode today! Hopefully I'll get caught up to the episode a day challenge. I should probably be on season 7 by now!
1. I love when the Inspector says to William that he might not lie but other men do. LOL.
2. A penny for a bite of pizza sounds horrible. I don't want to eat something someone else has either haha.
3. George eliminating the letters to spell death is one of my favorites. Williams reaction is absolutely hilarious.
4. I thought it was odd Emily hadn't learned of bullets being matched to a certain gun before this case!
5. George talking down Mrs. Lynd was great.

4. I thought it was odd Emily hadn't learned of bullets being matched to a certain gun before this case! I think this idea itself was new, and William had a hand in developing it. This was related to all the shooting into barrels of water in early seasons. So Emily didn't know about it because it was "institutional knowledge" rather than "school knowledge" - she needed someone like William to teach it to her. She becomes quite proficient in whipping this knowledge out later, though! I love how she puts Bat Masterson in his place over bullet knowledge in Glory Days.

He may have thought it improper to be seen with her too much - hence no specific coaching was possible, especially with Julia absent.
