Been a while since I posted here. I wanted to share this gorgeous piece of continental silver I won at auction. It was made in Germany, and it's from 1915... Eight inches from side to side, and four inches high! I have no idea what purpose (if any) this thing ever had, but it's in fantastic condition for being 103 years old. It has German hallmarks on the base and a serial-number which tells me the various details of its age, manufacture, silver purity (80%) and so-on...

Remember that episode with the dropped wallets, and the $10.00 and how the gang tries to find out who's doing it all, by using the scrutiny camera? Here's something I recently bought (and sold)...an actual wallet from the Edwardian era. I thought I'd post it here so that you could see what a real Murdochian wallet would've looked like, back in the 1890s and 1900s... It's from 1915 (dated by the silver marks on the corner-mountings), but would be identical in style those produce 10, or even 20 years earlier... The three sleeves ^^ are for stamps and train ticket stubs.
