YB Had this website on his twitter site the other day. It is a list of TV shows that fans are supposed to vote for. The lists are changed every day or so (from favorite tv show to favorite tv couple, or favorite tv actor etc). They are trying to get a short list of favorite tv couple and favorite tv show right now. I am guessing that the current lists may only be up for today or so. YOU CAN VOTE AS OFTEN AS YOU WANT on these first lists, and as they are reduced the voting will become only once per day. I voted for MM 300 times yesterday! (I had the time)and since we can vote as often as we want...why not? It would be good to see MM get some long overdue awards!

I voted for MM 300 times yesterday! holy cow you are obsessed! And whoever is running that needs to check in with Canadian mental health services about fomenting Internet addiction. "Oh Drat, you found me out" ! I thought I had been ever so subtle in my approach... Truth be told, I broke my ankle, and have been going stark staring crazy. I have to keep it elevated to try to keep the swelling down. So, I decided I would become a voting" machine" for a few hours. I do hope it helps MM make the short list, and hopefully voted one of the favorite shows. The more positive the press about MM, the more apt the US is to put it on one of it's main networks. Ovation, and there is another channel that I cannot remember, do televise it... however they cut out at least 5-7 more minutes out of each episode. It always seems like the humorous parts too. So it would be refreshing to see it on a larger network, and not additionally edited. (My Christmas wish) !

I've also been homebound a lot and spent much of that time "buffing up" this forum - for which CC teases me about pretty mercilessly. Compare my post count to CC's, and then realize CC is the senior forum member by far. Anyway, I did put up the tab to the voting page, though my vote count doesn't approach yours, I'm afraid. I know what you mean about the 7 minutes being cut out of the syndicated episodes. Some of what they are cutting is ridiculous. I don't understand why it has to be so much: doesn't the CBC have commercials, too? Anyway this much will be cut out of ALL syndicated episodes - the only chance we will get for an uncut version is PBS. I've already written PBS with the suggestion that they use the audience built on the syndication to justify purchase of the new episodes, and to try to get them when they are new. I doubt it can be done, though. PBS seems to have some constraint that prevents them from purchasing/airing shows when they are brand new.
