I caught a couple of raunchy references in Journey to the Center of Toronto (7x11), and who could miss the Freudian aspect of William's blackboard drawing (it's even in my 40 Year Old Virgin thingamabob), but it seems I didn't even catch the half of it. Is it just me, or is William leering (subtly, of course) at Julia in 01x06 Let Loose the Dogs in the scene where he goes to apologize to her after her breathing classes. It also begs the question was she waiting for him? What was in the note she left him? In case you forgot, there's ankles, and an unbuttoned blouse.
Even then she was baiting him!

Can I request a special edition: Porn Glasses cut of Journey to the Centre of Toronto with all the pervy lines and visual references? If William really is bending space and time around his desperation for some nookie, this really needs to be memorialized and celebrated in some way. This might explain The Look at the end of Ragtime as well. He knew if Julia teased him any more, his subconscious would start erupting into the real world sort of like the train in Inception.   |

I shall check now. I don't remember a note, but she did spend all Season 1 running hot/cold/catty. But I think the catty part was just about being a near-spinster and being a wee bit worried why a hottie like William had remained single so long. (STD? Serious mental illness? Gay? Will never propose...?) She's a girl with a difficult past which he may not accept, and she's in a hurry. |

William was being rude (he had good cause) , and he receives a note from her and goes to the park and apologizes to her. Argh! What was in the note? |
