Yep. Undoubtedly-and nervous about what the wedding night might bring. But, I just can't help but think of that expression when I watch the scene and watch Brax try not to snicker too loud at his bumbling about. Such an adorable scene. I think I may like it better than his reaction to the belly dancer-but only slightly.  The Belly Dancer expression was less virginal: it was more: "Well...now that I'm here, I might as well enjoy this...hohoho..." A little embarrassed, but intrigued all the same.  I don't think he felt too sinful: he was probably imagining Julia in that outfit. Oh, I think that expression was intrigue mixed with a heaping dose of guilt and and embarrassment. William's mind definitely went to dark places in that scene-but I agree-it wasn't long before he started thinking of Julia in a similar outfit. |

What was funny about this conversation is it actually shocked Julia! That's hard to do! Score one for William! He is getting some sort of "education" from his scientific reading, virgin or not. Yeah, but pathetic if going nowhere that night!  But it established intent. That was important-it told Julia that he held her in more than the dearest affection. It's a must in the perv canon! I think both are true. William is all for reading about new ideas and machinery, but he's rarely content to leave it at that...he likes to build on and experiment with the information. Hence the Kama Sutra is already packed . I go back in forth on this. Sometimes William seems exceedingly clever. Then sometimes he has that Forrest Gump thing going on. You can never be sure whether he's already studied the Kama Sutra in detail (curious mind in action) or whether Julia is going to have to slip a bookmarked copy under his pillow. William remembers most of what he has read and I feel certain he has seen many publications on bedroom activities and now that the wedding is approaching I bet he has been rereading these texts. He possesses a lot of knowledge but he lacks any meaningful experience. Even if he has slept with women before, the chances are slim that he had the kind of trust required to venture into some of the more advances techniques.
