Never mind the dust. Julia was fine. It was William that was in trouble in that situation with Julia's assets (backside) hanging in his face whilst they tried to do an important job. The temptation was high and he struggled with it. He's obviously enjoying his status as a married man. At least now he gets to act on his fantasies at a later hour of the evening.

That scene was exactly what I want post-wedding: mysteries or crime solving with pervy moments such as that thrown in to show that William's human and multi-layered, and some innuendo for dessert. I'll be happy. Maybe we'll get that next episode.

So I hope it's not "a little innuendo is enough" - "we can go home and stop thinking about trying to construct a plot now".

He was like a man in prison all his life and suddenly released into the free world. I felt sorry for him.

I was thinking about for future episodes-murders and crimes would be primary and some perv or innuendo thrown in for good measure.

I felt sorry for him. Yeah, he seemed really happy, and very proud. Plus, Julia told him she was proud to be Mrs. Murdoch, which only boosted his pride.

You go, Great Detective!

Plus, Julia told him she was proud to be Mrs. Murdoch, which only boosted his pride. Must be crazy for him to try to wrap his head around the class ramifications of that one! Not sure if he's linking that to his detective skills or his bedroom prowess, though. It's after midnight here - I may have to just call it a night and watch in the morning. I need to investigate some more VPNs. Apparently Hola is known to fail for CBC.

Plus, look who she has legal claim to? You know she's going to love showing him off as well. He's a little old to be her boy toy now, though! She did technically marry "down", so I think William is going to need some reminding of an alternative vision of the more equal future where that doesn't matter. (Though, sadly, I learned today that in the face of massive immigration in the late 1800s, the suffragists in the US changed their argument from "because it's an equal human right" to "because we're also white upper class" - i.e. female white upper class votes were needed to overcome the "ignorant" and "bribed" votes of the "foreigners" (especially Catholics!). All the descriptions of William's Honeymoon!Fails sort of reminds me of his initial humiliation at ballroom dancing...which all worked out for the best in the end as well.
