The other question is: does William need to put a little something extra in his tea first before following the map?

Alright, commentfic it is. It's short, but I'm very rusty as well-it's been years since I've done this, and my iPad is a poor replacement for my computer. I may or may not expand upon this later.
"Julia, I..." William starts before the sight awaiting him stops him in his tracks.
There she was, in only her chemise, head turned and neck arched prominently.
No, his imagination wasn't running away from him, it seems that his wife had wanted him to find her annotated copy of Dracula, and take note of her comments.
Waiting for him, like prey to the hunter.
Or was he the prey, and she the hunter?
He decided he didn't care as he threw the book the floor and reached for her, exposing her neck to his mouth more than it had been.

I suspect when all is said and done, a lot of "love bites" will be involved. D: I wonder what Julia will do to make William feel like he's the prey? (Besides lure him with books)

I get the feeling from all his pervy glances that William wants to be the hunter. So he's going to have to turn this game around somehow.

Lips brushed skin softly, the both held each other, a sudden passion alit, so much, that neither of the two had noticed the open window, and the person outside. Suddenly, an explosion took them both off their feet. William, lying on the ground, turned his head and struggled to keep his eyes open, making a fist with both hands as he attempted to regain his stand. The wall and the window were gone, now nothing but debris on the floor. An aching sensation took him, and William looked down to realize he was covered in bruises and blood. Turning worriedly to Julia, he found her slumped against the far wall. She had been closer to the window, the impact must've been far stronger. He raced over to her, and felt her for a pulse. Nothing. Dun dun dun ...

William blinked and cleared his head to shake the terrible premonition, and then proceeded to... ... Walk away. A feeling of rue soon trickled from his head to his feet, as he heard his dear wife's voice echoing down the halls. A part of him wanted to go back and ignore the foresight, to forget about everything and to truly claim what he had desired for so long. A frustration burned in his stomach, and his walking feet sped up slightly, his shoes clicking softly against the wooden floors. "William?" He swallowed and replied over his shoulder, his voice suddenly hoarse and failing. "Julia - come here. I think something is about to happen." Without a second lost, William found her by his side, matching stride as they made their way briskly outside. "What's wrong?" The joyous light in Julia's eyes had quickly faded, replaced with a fearful gleam. She chuckled nervously, and blinked rapidly several times. "I think we're in danger." "How?" "I had ..." He swallowed, his insides contracting. His face began to heat, and he looked away in embarrassment. "... a premonition." Julia knew how accurate some of her husband's sights could be, but she couldn't help in suppressing a slight giggle. "All that worry over an ill thought?" "No, Julia. It was more than that. There was a man outside the window, of the room we had just been occupying. The wall blew open. I'd seen that you had ..." He choked, and bent over, coughing, before regaining his composure and continuing to walk away from the house. They were now on the street outside. It was night, and, aside from a curved, silver moon under a veil of clouds, and the usual yellowish streetlights, everything was pitch dark. "Hm?" "... died." The two turned their gazes away from each other, and looked onwards, before stopping and turning themselves towards the house, which lay dormant and safe-looking about a hundred and fifty metres away. They did not talk, only stared open-mouthed as a side of the house burst into flame. The flickering orange danced wickedly, reflected on the eyes of both William and Julia. Smoke rose into the air, and a second explosion tore down the front of the house. More fire rose from the debris, and caught on some of the plants outside. And under the sickle moon, a little ways away, a human form crept out of the smoke, and into the streets.
