And the Nightmare on Queenstreet game had a lot of similar detail. So you probably weren't far off when you said they had the minds of game designers doing 'real' world stuff. I forgot about Nightmare on Queenstreet - my computer wasn't able to process that properly, so all I got was the first frame of each scene. I wonder if they had future games in mind or something more elaborate. There's definitely a deeply detailed "Murdoch world" going on. The interesting thing is that the era is undergoing a time of change: all those details may have to be redone for the upcoming Jazz Age! That's really the fun of period shows isn't it? I posted another thread about creating some gif battle between MM and Vikings.

Are you sure it was your computer's fault? A lot of people had problems with it in Firefox, myself included, so I was forced to use Chrome. Yuck.

I use Firefox. lol, I have to try it again sometime then. I think you even told me that before, but I never got around to it. btw, I found a random pic that's from the promo I'm trying to find: unlabeled, untraceable, probably unhelpful. But maybe it will look familiar to you. That's from right at the end when it goes "...Ourselves". Yannick looks older - I'm sure it's within the last 2 years.

Woot, well you narrowed the search down a lot as well: it's the promo for Season 7, and it's CBC, not Alibi. Isn't it creepy-cool?!

The "filing system" looks like time cards. Each Constable would write the time he reported for his shift and then the time he checked out for the day.
Great Picks.

Oh right - I actually had to do that for a job I had in high school. I used to cheat by going out, and then coming back to punch the card.

LOL - I just noticed that certain "precaution" Mr. Prop Monkey took against Domino Investigators. I myself have always been curious about the variety of room styles represented as "Queens Hotel" over the years, from lavish to spartan. If William and Julia are staying there for their honeymoon, I certainly hope it's not in the plain rooms they stayed at during the Gillies investigation! Glad you avoided exploding yourself! Yes I know. I wasn’t taking any chances! I don’t think William and Julia will be spending their honeymoon there either. Remember the embassy I found? There’s hope yet that the honeymoon is heading overseas. However, I went to the Jewellers to see if I could negotiate a good deal for Williams ring but I found this instead (you may have to download pic and scale up to see the ads properly. It is now vacant and derelict). Perhaps this is why he could not get his money back? The Jewellers went into receivership? Is William going to ever get a wedding ring? With the cock-up by the props with the rings afterwards though, I shudder to think that Julia was wearing William’s ring all the time she was engaged and married to another man. I’ve heard that’s a really bad omen.

I also hope you can hang in there until more episodes come out, and there can be real episode discussion. I'm afraid all you're going to get is a lot of fan art and shipper squee in the mean time. Other ideas always welcome! Don't worry, I intend to hang in there to the bitter or glorious end!!!!

That is soooooooooooo cool! Do you think they've done that detail all along or are they just doing it now for fans? That thing with the clock is crazy nitpicky - I love it!!! I think even if we are mesmerized by Yannick's blinking eyelashes, subconsciously we know whether the details are anachronistic or not. All it would take is one misplaced Red Bull can to throw us out of the period vibe. Probably it was always there and this is a culmination of all it over the years. Because that would be an insane amount of work to do all of a sudden for a single fan event! And the Nightmare on Queenstreet game had a lot of similar detail. So you probably weren't far off when you said they had the minds of game designers doing 'real' world stuff. Good observation CC about the wall of brains. You didn’t notice because it was never there before. It was put there in preparation for filming this week along with a couple more items we are not used to seeing in the morgue. That “wanted” wall and the case files have detailed info. It was fascinating to see the detail in the files both at the morgue with Dr. Julia Ogden’s signature and all the agencies she contacted during cases that contributed to her conclusions as well as the files in station house 4 signed by William and other detectives that worked on cases in his absence. I am pretty sure if I looked hard enough I might have found a record of Athena’s fingermarks . This wasn’t done just for the event. Of course there will be a few gaps here and there but generally, they are quite good with documentation especially with the events they’ve showed us over the years.

This didn't even occur to me! Was this the bit you thought the MM team didn't want you to know? What a great catch! What a great idea! Also - a complicated trip to the embassy might be part of a general day of bureaucratic hassles related to the wedding. My spidey sense is tingling on that one. LOL - another in-joke for the production team and the fans. XD

CC how do you upload your photos so large. My pics look great on my PC as they are full scale but when I upload on here they come up like little gifs. I don't know why that is.
