Look at you mrsbrisby  . I feel like a proud mama even though you did it all on your own! I am SO frustrated that I missed out. My only (slim) hope is that MM said they may open up new slots. I take that to mean that anyone who is wait-listed will be the first to be contacted if they do another event like this. Are you on the wait-list? You better believe I am! |

Maybe you could wait by the phone in a cafe in the general vicinity. I could...but I have a fair bit to do tomorrow before I head back up to the cottage. Bottom line, I can be there in 25 minutes if a slot comes open. Tomorrow is one day I'll have my phone attached to my hand! |

I am on the wait list too. The only reason I am on Facebook is MM. That is how I got to go to the showing of Loch Ness Murdoch with the cast in attendance at the Bell Lightbox last November. My avatar picture was taken that day. That must have been pure luck.
I was reading MM twitter tonight and they say they are going to try to schedule another open house in the fall, after they see how this one goes. I too am tempted to go and "hang around" but I am much too shy.
I really dislike Facebook otherwise: too confusing. And I won't even try Twitter. I'll leave that to my kids.

Hi! Just thought I'd jump in here. I got the notification on twitter about he open house but I had no idea it would fill up so fast. My heart breaks for you lovemondays. The thing about younger people is they are always glued to their mobile device so they can reply to any and all new messages. I cannot figure out FB, and twitter is a challenge, but the number of people I follow is quite small. I prefer old fashioned email probably because it offers some illusion of privacy and there are some things I don't want to discuss on boards.

I had 2 tickets and a change of plan late Thursday night so one became free. I just returned my spare ticket this morning so MM can give it to a fan on the wait list. Had I seen this post before I did, I would most certainly have given it to you. I really feel awful about this. I can’t ask for it back now. They would already have passed it on. Oh bugger! This just took the fizz off my excitement of going to an MM event. I am almost tempted to ask you to come along anyway as I still have my printed tickets with me. Perhaps I can smuggle you in but I know that won't work because I already gave them the ticket # and permission to give it to someone else even though I still have the hard copy. I’m sorry, me ol’ mucker. They did say that they hope to do another one in the future but this being the first time they are opening their studios to the fans, they wanted to see how this goes first before they decide whether to do any more. So fingers crossed. |

Photography is not my strongest point but I will try hard for your sake. I don't suppose we will be seeing the Inspector as they are still trying to hide him from view just to keep fans wondering if he will be back for next season. |
