didn't someone say shaftesbury was dishing them out to people during s1 as a way to peak interest? anyway, i forgot that the fic was taking place at their house so the last line confused me at first. but otherwise, more fic please! Am I the only one that doesn't like this pic, if this is supposed to peak my interest it's failed miserably. Much as I like the eye candy this type of photo does nothing for me. I'd much rather see William in his three piece suit, tie, pocket watch and homburg! As I've always said, clothes maketh the man. I'm impressed by his physique though.... Keep up the good work Fallenbelle!! I don't like it either because I don't like "muscle men" - plus there is something vaguely photoshopped about it. But I do like the concept with the ironing board, lol.

I think what I like best about this pic (besides the obvious eyecandy), is that he's doing it in his office, where Julia anyone can come by and see it. It's almost like a bad fanfic where William waits for George's cue that Julia is on her way and that's when he whips the shirt off and starts ironing it, just waiting for her to come in. " Hey gurrrrlll! Julia, what a surprise to see you here! Or, a fic that happens at their house after they're married. This is what happens when you're bored, and waiting for MM to start back up again. As Julia walked into William's study, she was greeted with a sight of William in just his undershirt, and trousers slung low on his hips. Ironing his shirts just as the Jesuits had taught him. "I dare say, Mr. Murdoch, whatever the Constabulary is paying you, I'll pay you double to be my house boy." "Really, double? What would my duties be?" "Oh, laundry, general house maintenance. Stud service." She murmured the last bit, he wasn't sure he'd heard correctly. "So long as you're wearing your uniform, of course," she stipulated, stepping into his space, and wrapping her arms around his neck. "Of course. I believe in propriety. One should always be appropriately attired." "Most excellent, detective. When can you start?" "Now seems as good a time as any," he offered, divesting her of her blouse. It seems that they would both be late for work. Again. That scene just became unofficial canon for me. And if we get stuff like this, them being married doesn't have to be boring! They can still be adorkable around one another, but just with more sexual innuendo. And we'd still eat it up!

Well that makes one of us then. I guess if I keep sending stuff to them or CBC, eventually someone will notice and retweet it. But I don't like being annoying. I mean, I do, but I don't. I think you have to keep tweeting it to the actors and murdochmysteries - the reason they are recognizing people is they're trying to expand their Twitter activity. If I had something Halloweenie that would be good...but I don't think I do. At least the only creepy vid I can recall making was of all the times Julia and Murdoch almost died set to an uplifting song called Oh Death.

The perfect wedding gift! I may just send it to them anyway...if Helene likes that one but not a whole montage of Julia's funny moments, I'm gonna seriously wonder about her. I mean, I like this vid too but it's not what you call cheery.

Can you post a link to this? I know I've seen it but haven't been able to find it for ages. My pleasure. Wow, I totally missed that one somehow! Must add to the Buzzfeed list later! Not only is it a well-made video with an unusual song, you managed to find a way to make a non-shippy theme! Grats on all counts! Oh - and I think that would be a contender for "retweeting" since it's a Halloween theme and undeniably good. Tweet it @ CBC AND the actors.
