Well we all a know about Yannick Bisson's Ice Bucket Challenge since FallenBelle was nice enough to cheer me up with it.
This is so perfect as-is. But of course what would make it even more perfect is other members of the cast of MM saying "Bring it on!" to the ice bucket challenge in historicalus costumus. My wish is apparently their command, so I will try to collect them and post them all in this thread.

And it's half historical since George is in costume... At the risk of sounding like a total dweeb, what do you make it share-able with in order to share it on Pro-Board? I had the same problem just now with the K-W Record article (see "Season 8" thread) so I just attached the link. I guess that's neanderthal style social networking.

Thanks - let's see if it's sharable! At the risk of sounding like a total dweeb, what do you make it share-able with in order to share it on Pro-Board? I had the same problem just now with the K-W Record article (see "Season 8" thread) so I just attached the link. I guess that's neanderthal style social networking. To display a video you use the little button thingy that's beside the picture one that looks like a black director's cut scene thingy. Sorry forgot what it's called, but it's 4 buttons over in that row, and when you mouse over it, it says Insert Video. As for the Share-able remark, that only pertained to Vimeo. Kristian Bruun had set his so you have to go to Vimeo to view it. Other than that, it's really easy to get the url for Vimeo videos. You can either url that's in the browser for the whole web page, or when you mouse over the video, to the right you get some buttons which include the "share" urls. It's exactly the same as the one in the browser. Every video site will be different in terms of how to grab the video url - just look around for where it says "share". If nothing says "share", try mousing over the video to see if anything pops up. If you've still got nothing, right clicking on the video or using the url in the browser address box. The one I haven't figured out is how to get Tumblr or Facebook Flash videos. If you right click on those, they just start playing. How to grab those to display here? I still can't post Jonny Harris's Ice Bucket Challenge for that reason.

They're all awesome! I just wish they would have all set up historical scenarios, hahahaha.

Ooh it's good to see some ice water dumped on Leslie Garland!
I really liked how he riffed on other causes. I have to admit I've had the grumble about how so much attention went into ALS that it would cause "compassion fatigue" and more obscure "orphan diseases" would especially be sapped of funding because everything was essentially going into the ALS - no pun intended - bucket. Other people have complained about the Ice Bucket Challenge being "hijacked" for other causes, but I think Giacoma got it right here: build on the Ice Bucket Challenge instead.

I liked the Ice Ice Baby Outro as well. Another clever take was Verne Troyer (Mini Me from Austin Powers) poured milk over his head (because California is in a drought) and ate cookies afterwards.

And that no cows were hurt in that production! And that the missing kid on the back of the carton was shown clearly to the camera! And that the milk didn't come in a plastic bag at the store, and that he put it the carton in paper recycling after he was done with it! This is California, after all, and we have a proud reputation for extreme something to maintain! That said, the cookies part was hilarious!
