Haha you're welcome, glad they are useful! Anyway it's great to be back after a few months away, I really missed you guys, I was just swamped with everything at grande and real life stuff. But I'm back now and raring to go for god status! Thanks for missing us, but I think this is a completely new set of guys. Except for CC, Shangas, Murdochic - and very occasionally barbarama and carolion - this is mostly a new generation. I keep wondering what happened to the old one. (Mostly because we now have no mods except for rondetto). It seems like they were all scooped up by either The Rapture or the Facebook group. But this group is pretty active right now. Welcome back! We've had to do a lot more typing without grande caps to quickly help us find the picture that says a 1000 words. I'm so glad it's up! Funny thing...I was thinking about you just yesterday because I was accessing your screencaps of "The Murdoch Effect". This isn't really the thread for it...MM Toronto Tours is; however I wanted to make sure you knew about our project. We are working to put together a do-it-yourself tour of MM filming locations. The goal is to plot as many shooting locations as possible on a map for each city, with a pic and blurb for each pin. It's much like that American couple did this summer with their trip to Brantford. Eus and I have been to Allen Gardens, the Flatiron building, 2 Wilton St, and 22 Ontario St. and there is a Hamilton tour happening on Nov 2. I've used your caps (each one credited) for ME because it's not on a DVD. All the rest have come from my DVD's and photos. What's so funny is that ME is the ONLY 'ep' with so many obvious TO locations. Please let us know how you feel about that. We're just beginning. Snacky is figuring out how to pin the maps and those from southern Ontario who wish to contribute location info are providing that. Snacky is right. This group is active. You go to sleep one night and there are 5 pages for one thread to read through over your morning coffee!!!

An update on that: The Novels on Location guy said we could get a general "Murdoch Mysteries" label by assigning several of Maureen Jennings novels to the same location. I can do that when I have a spare minute. This is where it would be really useful if the TV show had put out a "geeky guidebook", because there is no way to officially pin the TV show. Grr. We could just lie about the locations in one of Maureen Jenning's book's though, hehe.

While the dress isn't as spectacular as I'd hoped, I think it's the same dress, and that I'm not hating everything as much in that light. It'll be interesting to see what's real, and what's a nightmare scenario. I don't think that it's the same dress. I also think that it's not even a wedding dress. And what to say about her hair... AAAAARRGH! Please wake me up! It's a nightmare.

Sometimes it looks really great and sometimes it looks like she didn't do thing to it but put on a hat.

In a sign that I need help, I just blew this picture up to see if William is wearing a ring. I need help. In case you were wondering, I don't think he was. But I suppose it's not impossible.I had the same reflex. At first I thought that he is wearing a ring. There is a faint, arc-shaped mark around the base of his finger and I tried to check it in enlarging the picture but now I'm not sure. Maybe it's just a play of light and shadow. If you know the american TV show Dr QUINN, there's a little fight about rings between the main characters just before their weeding. The shows takes place at the end of the 19th century.
This made me understand that echanging rings between married is not a very widespread practice at this time.

Oh, still a sad excuse of a dress. What we have to keep in mind is that daytime wear, even for a bride, required full length sleeves. William looks adorable as usual. The high fitting collar is also required? Look at the wedding dress of Dr QUINN.

What is it with Julia's hair? Sometimes it looks really great and sometimes it looks like she didn't do thing to it but put on a hat. Of course, she has beautiful long hair! I'm jealous! But I meant her hairdo or rather the absence of a special hairdo on a special occasion.
