I'd still like it if it was a wedding nightmare. Wedding. Wedding. That's all I need. My vote was with wedding at end of season, but with all this "lollygagging" teasing, I think William better get on it soon. The wedding was always going to be on the 100th, a special event on a special occasion.

OMG, OMG, OMG! Please, no epic troll! Please? That said, I'd like the wedding to be done so we can have more noir ass-kicking William, Brax, and George. The possibilities seriously turn me on. I think that invitation bespeaks epic confidence in the episode instead. I like it.

I hope it is and doesn't turn out to be over hyped. I'm a bit wary of having an episode *devoted* to the wedding. This is getting into the soap opera territory that FallenBelle is worried about and could alienate a lot of fans. When the Death of Dr. Ogden became free on Amazon Prime, I chose not to post it on Reddit because it's a "shippy" episode: there would be more mockery gained than new fans. I always hoped the wedding episode would be embedded in a larger plot somehow. I'm also sort of bummed that they did make it into a church because my second choice was that it would have been historically hilarious/sad if they had been responsible for burning down the Allan Gardens Conservatory. I was hoping for an episode where a lot of potential causes for the disaster were diverted...until after everyone goes home, and some last guest's cigar rolls off a table or something. Anyway, doing a big wedding episode as fan service for shippers just invites a whole sector of viewers to turn off the TV for the night. I hope I'm wrong. Maybe it is a regular episode, and the "wedding invite" is just for the benefit of the shippers.

With the exception of the killing Darcy arc, I've liked how they've handled things. I'm going to keep calm and trust that this will be the case here!

We don't know yet how the wedding will be handled, we only know that it's going to be in the 100th episode. I don't think, hope(?), it's going to be the entire episode. I always just sit back and see what's on. If I like it, great, if I don't then it's just not one of my favourite eps. No biggie. I definitely don't worry about what's going to happen. I do know of one scene that has to take place either in 803 or 804 and if it is 804 then there's an investigation as well.

I didn't know that. I believe that's what the 'wedding invitation' is about not to mention that all signs have been that it will be the 100th. The clip from next Monday's episode where Julia says the wedding can be held in the church is setting up for the next (804) episode too. Do you not want it to happen in the 100th or are you just talking yourself out of it because you can't believe it's actually happening? I don't care one way or the other, I'd be just as happy if it was the end of the season but I'm convinced it's the 100th and have been since Maureen Jennings said something special will be happening in the 100th episode. Whilst the writers do a lot of trolling I don't think Maureen Jennings would.

I'm going to speculate (sorry Talbotrail!) that there's a series of thefts (hello-wedding gifts) at various weddings. Or something like that... Anyway, William will be attending several weddings throughout the show trying to solve the crime and there will just happen to be a special wedding at the end that happens to be his own. Just a guess.

It’s the 100th and huge milestone for the producers/show as a whole. I would like this episode to be for them and not just spend it catering to one specific group or the other of their fans. They’ve had time to think about what they want to do. All in all, I think it will be very special.

Toronto women fought for the vote and now it's delaying the wedding episode of MM? Say it isn't so!

My prediction is that William's almost late for the wedding at the end of the episode due to a case. I just can't imagine it not happening...
