OMG how could I never notice all those sneak peeks before! It's so true! During her whole speech all he could do is stare at her cleavage - which I guess wasn't exposed in what she usually wore. Even if it was possible the show would be cancelled, I always found William's reaction to Julia's "parting" from Darcy odd. If he had issues with marrying a Divorcee and he knew Julia had already slept with Darcy (no annulment) - what kind of future relationship did he think he and Julia were going to have? Yet as soon as Julia said she had "parted" from Darcy, William was all over her. In public. Around people who knew Julia as a married woman. Likely destroying her reputation. Now we know why. This calls for some fic, too, don't you think...? Well the whole reason I watched that scene was because of a fic. (It wasn't pervy or anything...it just made me want to watch it). And then I paid particular attention to his downshifting eyes. I wasn't expecting as many as I did find though! I particularly LMAO over the first peeks cuz, William looks, then directs her attention to the ball, then whips his head back for another quick peek before she pays attention to him again. |
