Attachment limit

I was watching Murdoch Ahoy this afternoon with Georgeisclairvoyant and I was reminded of the ultimate Homburg, Powers Down screencap...when it's floating past Julia in the flooding cargo hold.  When I went to attach the clip to my post the following message popped up: 

       "This forum has exceeded it's capacity for attachments."

Being the tech newborn that I am I am baffled.  I know it's not the same thing as the image being too big.  My concern is that it's talking about the forum itself. Yikes!

Any input from the tech queens?

I will admit to the possibility that I am doing something wrong/stupid, but I've successfully added pics many times and I've never seen this message before.

My fault for posting too many gifs in the tumblr thread. I'll make some space when I get home - much later tonight. :/
