Peter Mitchell said he "pulled the trigger" to prove romance does not end with marriage - so Casanova William better still be in play! Noir William is mostly a focus on gritty detective work, but it can also be a pose - like when he met Julia in the dark alley. (Actually Peter Mitchell is becoming my hero.) So yes, we need Casanova!William......to keep the home fires burning so to speak. (As long as all of his casanovishness is directed only at Julia but not in a smothering kind of way) Ok I'm going off to vote now.....

And, in your opinion, is this something I need to watch? Or is that the highlight?

He'd be best not to forget tha his lady has been known to bear arms.....

I just watched it to partake vicariously in the "wedding celebrations"! No new questions were asked. We did get a couple hints regarding future episodes. I think Helene indirectly confirmed there would be at least one scene where she's just wearing a corset and underthingies in a hotel room in William's presence (it sounds like in The Devil Wears Whalebone).

He might find himself out in the garden digging up patches for flower beds!

The Murdochs will have the only house on the block with an electric rider lawnmower, that's for sure. Oooh, who looks forward to seeing a big old mailbox with The Murdochs painted on it?
