There's a new vidder on the block: ValoueeeeBella Nice one, and it's good to see updated clips! I'd like to see some evolution beyond shipper vids though. It's hard to find songs that work for both non-shipper themes and period clips though.

Like MM, u fail to advertise. I haven't posted it yet. Waiting eagerly! I think I may have said this before, but if I could make a vid, I'd want to use this song. I hate the video for this song, but the song is one of my faves. I'd also want to make one to this song for season one and two W/J. I particularly like the part about dressing up and flirting that apply to Julia trying to get William to notice her. Both songs are Zero 7, but both feature the vocals of the amazing Sia Furler, whom I have adored for years, and just recently saw some success this past summer with Chandelier. I'll never make them, but if I could edit clips and such, I would make these vids!

I loooooooooooooooove zero 7! I used to think I just didn't like music at all. Then I went to a cafe with zero 7 and similar moody-lounge tastes. Aaaaaaaaaaaah. Calgon take me away!

I actually first heard Zero 7 on a long flight back to the States (13 hours, baby) on one of the airline stations. I was blown away, and immediately made it a point to buy all of their work as soon as I landed.
Of course, I similarly adore Portishead and would love to make one to Glory Box.
I've got the entire Adobe suite, but it terrifies me (hubby teaches also teaches video production) ,Premiere Pro is such a beast!

I'm just going to have to raise you with Telepopmusik instead.

I've thought of using one of her songs before but all the ones I have seem to be rather violent...

I just use Windows Live Movie Maker...there isn't a lot to it so anyone can splice stuff together with enough patience. I'm too cheap to go for something professional...and as you say there's a lot more of a learning curve. I've heard of Portishead and was planning on getting into them but somehow never did.

It's probably harder to make fan vids with downbeat music: harder to find those climax moments for kissing!
