Hello, every body! Been away for several months traveling and then recovering from neck surgery which has made typing very difficult since I can't look down just yet. Anyway, I will try to catch up on the boards, but you guys have been so busy, it might be like reading War and Peace. I did not get tickets to the fan appreciation day, so if anyone knows of a ticket or two that is not being used, please let me know. I would love to come to Toronto and see the set. Mrs. Brisby Welcome back! We've definitely been chatty Naw - the chat is not half as epic as it was before the marriage when we were all determined to become unpaid, unsolicited wedding consultants! Ps. My dresses and my HONEYMOON were still the best!

Perhaps Julia hasn't had enough science and dead people jokes in her life for the past few years and realized the morgue is her one true love. Or maybe she was so appalled with how people like Charlotte were being treated and couldn't change it (after trying very hard) so she quits. What sucks is there were actually some good ideas floating around about how Julia could become a champion of mental health asylum reform: that was an important issue of the era. Or...maybe Julia gets fired doing just that, lol. In other threads I've advocated for Julia starting her own private forensics lab. That would have been a step up rather than a step down: better yet, this would have given WILLIAM some career negotiating leverage.

Did anyone else notice the #Dominoes hashtag? Well, there it is: William and Julia were up all night playing strip dominoes. Obviously. I laughed too much over the tag! Dominoes must be why the bed is so far from the wall. Someone dropped a domino under the bed and they had to move it to fetch it of course. OMG, I just noticed the bed was that far from the wall! Don't come knockin' when the bed is rockin'.

This was just posted. I haven't read it yet *runs off to read* edit: So basically I learned nothing My favorite part-it's funny 'cause it's true. The next step for Julia and William is a baby…I think that would be amazing. I think it would be hilarious because I think they’d be terrible parents. They’re a couple of nerds who don’t really have any idea what they’re doing. Neither of them would stop working, so how would they balance that?

They can't even make it through a meal without getting interrupted.

Perhaps Julia hasn't had enough science and dead people jokes in her life for the past few years and realized the morgue is her one true love. When world's collide---I've recalled something I hadn't thought about for years, when I first came to Toronto, a co-worker invited me over for dinner. She had a daughter about 3 yr old. At some point in the evening we stepped into the room where she was playing quietly and I saw all these little facecloths and hand-towels scattered around the room, each one completely covering something that was lying underneath. It was all her dolls, as it turned out! Pat told me that's how she put her "babies to bed", to me it just looked like a lot of little bodies lying about. That was a long time ago, that little girl probably ended up in the morgue since it was her one true love - OR - she did 15-20 in Kingston Pen!! Anyway, now I can imagine 3 yr old Julia playing with her dolls.......Lol, see! I can eventually make everything relate to MM.

As a tomboy she probably wasn't playing house with her dolls

When I was a child (and complete tomboy), some misguided relative got me a Barbie doll.........I played with it by hanging it, using the dog as the hangman's horse.......he loved it......I'd set Barbie up, noose around her neck, on his back, give him a little tap on the rump, he'd take off out to the hall, through the kitchen and dining room, back into the living room and get back into position....the same misguided relative, after my mother told her I played with Barbie all the time, got me Ken, so he was hung as well......(in fact, it was the only thing hung about Ken)....
