Welcome Miss Emily............Oh snacky, your pirate ship is filling up. It was sweet of her to bring tea scones but I was surprised that she assumed Emily would just drop her hard earned career and follow her to England. That's who Lillian is but I not who I think Emily is. As in any new relationship, they've got a lot to learn about one another. It's going to be interesting to see what Emily's decision will be. Hahaha, I almost have enough for a rowboat! England is a great opportunity, and since Lillian is working the equivalent of minimum wage jobs, this is a tremendous opportunity for her. I'm sure she thinks that Emily will be able to get an equivalent job or better in England, and that Emily won't want to her to miss out. My life kind of sucks right now. If I were offered an opportunity to go to England and do something important with my life, I would probably try to convince my significant other to find a way to make it happen. That just seems realistic to me. As for Emily's decision: I think she will stay, but Lillian will return after some time in England. And she will make even more trouble than this season!

At least it wasn't crumpets! (Hey we never did get our crumpets scene...?) That will be next season! I'm watching for it! Though maybe William bumped into a tray of crumpets in the whorehouse in Glory Days.

... that is the overall terms of the British Empire, Toronto would be regarded as a backwater...... ........You mean it's NOT because we have the Leafs? I had dinner with friends from Pittsburgh tonight and was asked if Toronto had a hockey team......I said in a manner of fashion......

Sad to say but for now, good answer. But Reimer was amazing again last night. I assume your friends aren't hockey fans in that they didn't know about the Toronto Maple Leafs. For better or for worse, the Leafs have been around for a very long time.

After we talked about it a bit, they knew a little about hockey....one had been an Islanders fan in the 1970s and they knew about Sidney Crosby.....of course, I started talking up the Montreal Canadiens...

I wonder if the trouble that George has been in, with him preverting the course of justice, if he'll be demoted and back to being a constable in S9. TBH, I hope so. That way the show can get back to it's winning formula, instead of having to construct ways to stick George into the cases as a 2nd detective. Julia needs to get back involved in cases, so there just isn't the room for them all to play a central role along side William.

No matter what happens he's not going to get away scot-free.

I am from a hockey family too. My brother still plays and he is in his 60s. I just watch and cheer the Habs.

I'll take field hockey any day. I don't understand the need for contact in sports. Guess I'm just not a spectator.

I actually played on in one of the first girls' hockey leagues in Toronto.....we won the league championship too and I got the usual miniature trophy.....people would ask my parents if that was their son's trophy and they'd have to explain that, no, it was their daughter's....my brother used to brag he was good at blocking shots....that was because he was a lousy skater and kept falling over.....
