So @cbcmudoch on twitter (and Facebook) just posted this. I. cannot. breathe OMG what was that?!!! I hope this alternative universe comedy is buried deep in the Jungian unconscious somewhere!!! and/or William's dark places are much more pervy than we ever imaginedWhat is this for, anyway? Ps. Julia is thinking the same thing about William's hair... ...Just read the ad - YB/MM is helping advertise this Cinderella: Gags to Riches musical. But what a hysterically WRONG combo!!!! Again, hope this is buried deep in William's Jungian unconscious where Julia can never find it!

I think it's advertizing "CINDERELLA, The Gags to Riches Family Musical!" which is apparently showing in a theatre in Toronto. I've watched it like three times now and It just keeps getting funnier (at least for me) Admittedly the First time I watched it I was like "WTF??" but then I was just dying of laughter.

Do they have panto in Canada? Thought it was a peculiar British thing. According to Wikipedia "Christmas pantomimes are performed yearly at the Hudson Village Theatre in Quebec. Since 1996, Ross Petty Productions has staged pantomimes at Toronto's Elgin Theatre each Christmas season. Pantomimes imported from England were produced at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in the 1980s" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantomime

But what one of the many many many great things in this is that I find that it's got a bit of a parody to it as well. With the lines about the "puzzles" especially.

"Stay Hunky!" And of course my favourite line which is even more hilarious taken out of context- "Your bosom appears to be vibrating."

On first glance, it looks like the kind of thing that we probably also have in San Francisco. But on second glance, there might be some political issues with some of the aspects of the performance, so it would probably be modified here or cause some controversy. I'm not sure - I'll have to look into it. But I do think that video could both go viral/cause controversy...but I don't know the route through which that would happen. I hope it does, though, because it is hilarious - especially for those who know the context for MM.

With the lines about the "puzzles" especially. The punch line is you can actually consider this canon and fall off your bed laughing about it. William and Julia are entering the age of Freud/Jung and obsession with the unconscious mind. This cold be some freaky thing buried in William's Jungian unconscious. Even the fairy godmother's cellphone...well, there are theories about the unconscious and quantum entanglement not respecting linear time. So let's just hope Julia never hypnotizes William deep enough to dig something like this up because William would probably go into such deep shock he would end up comatose and never come out of it!
