So this is a list of historical figures with Tattoos, and three people on this list have featured on MM. mentalfloss.com/article/50761/10-historical-titans-surprising-tattoosIs is it wrong that I want to write a William has a tattoo fic now? I know you'll probably just say he'd never have one, but the quietest people are the ones with those sneaky secrets...take the librarian in WotWS... |

I've also found research that upper crust ladies had tats as well in the 1880's (so shocking!) including Winston Churchill's mother, Jennie. But now the question becomes what would he possibly have done...William's still a bit of an enigma. |

But now the question becomes what would he possibly have done...William's still a bit of an enigma. Was this a result of the Japanophilia of the era? I'm still waiting for MM to treat the Anglo-Japan treaty - that was a big deal that had a lot to do with the later Asian theater in the World Wars. But in the short term it had a lot to do with the cultural fetishes of the turn of the century. This was one of the reasons I was hoping for the honeymoon in Japan. |
