I just watched Big Murder on Campus last night, and for some reason I got intrigued by William's detailed attention to noose mechanics. Indeed, he loves to threaten people with the noose - i.e. death. He often looks fascinated when he brings it up. On the X-Files there used to be a running in-joke about Mulder's auto-eroticism. I can't remember how it started. But if William was supposed to be a virgin for so long and was fascinated with exactly how much leverage it takes for this and pressure for that, wouldn't he experiment on himself? Is this a workaroun for the sin of onanism? It's hard for me to think through, though since just a tight necklace will make me gag. I can't even wear turtlenecks. Anyway, I shall propose that Wiliam likes the noose a little too much...

As for BMoC he went into great detail to threaten Robert Perry.

haha, you're always so polite with the "maaaaaaaaaybe you're reading too much into this..." I realize its far-fetched, and even I don't like it as kink. I don't even understand how it works, really. But I realized it's my job on this forum to be the radical instigator and stir the pot when it looks stale. Also that running joke with Mulder, wherever it came from, was darned funny. I think he was spotted with implements at one point...or maybe he protested too much when Scully joked about it...
