Our very own CosmicCalvalcade played a huge role in luring me into MM in the first place because her vid Canadian Please provided a good quick overview of the show.
New viewers often go from checking out a show to binge-watching a show when they start watching *for* something. Shippy vids help reel new fans into the watching for evidence of character romantic relationships. This vid by CC was another one that made MM look bright and shiny (this got me into Pentatonix as well as MM, btw):
IMHO, CC's Hot in Herre also deserves a spot among the greatest of the great:
CC is known for her funny clip vids as well as her music vids. This one about "pervitude" in Journey to the Center to Toronto is my favorite.
Just to prove that vids don't always have to focus on shippiness, CC offers this tribute to the bicycle:

I was gonna create my own thread but it looks like you saved me the trouble...too bad I had to take down Hot in Herre. Stupid YT. Anyway, here's Murdoch's Cellphone Surprise!Didn't turn out as nicely as I would've liked. One of the pitfalls of using free editing software...but it's still funny imo. Gonna post something else tomorrow. |

Anyway, here's Murdoch's Cellphone Surprise!Didn't turn out as nicely as I would've liked. One of the pitfalls of using free editing software...but it's still funny imo. Gonna post something else tomorrow. Do you have webspace to upload your videos so that if YT takes them down they're still available here at least? I have in the past uploaded to my website if I've had trouble with YT. |

Also, did you watch this one? I heard that YT is going to promote their new subscriptions service RedTube by making everyone's video's private unless they agree to be part of that service. If they go through with that, I hope that turns out to be an epic disaster and they will set the videos back to public after a couple of weeks. I prefer videos on YouTube because I have a playlist there so I can keep track of videos I like. I did watch the Cellphone Surprise - it took a long time to load, but once it did I lol'd.  |

William has seen the future all right.... the beauty of this would be that you could take literally anything and dub it over the phone...wish the damn software would let me rotate the overlay so it lines up better... |

Perhaps you could surround it with some dead air, rename it, and then repost? don't think that'll work. people try all manner of crazy things to get the content software not to notice it...only (sorta) sure fire way is to remove the music. that would be a really weird piece then. i meant to look into another website i could upload and link to but i kind of forgot and instead watched the livestream for sara b's musical. should be available on itunes any minute now. i'm pretty sure i'm in love with her, or at least her personality. lol. |
