Hi all, victorian gentleman here. I must say that i am quite partial to a tipple of the old whiskey at the weekend night time. usually when watching re runs of murdoch and after a nice glass of english ale. anyway, just wondering iff anyone has tried the canadian club whiskey? We have it at our local tesco but it is rather expensive. But iff anyone here has tried it first hand i should like to know. Oh yes, and iff anyone could describe the taste that be would be great. Thank you Murdochians.

Btw, we lived across the way from the storage warehouses that Hiram Walker aged the CC whiskey in years ago.

Canadian Club whiskey is a rye whiskey, so it has a very different taste from Scotch. Personally, I don't like it, but then I don't like rye (my preference is single malt).......
Cheers (literally, in this case...)
(Here is the LCBO's brief description of it: www.lcbo.com/lcbo/product/canadian-club-whisky/42#.VPjNI2w5DIV)
