It wasn't the first time. He pushed to get the truth about Julia's abortion, too. And that wasn't the only other time. He's always pushed for the truth at any cost and now has just been told by the man that taught him truth must prevail that sometimes it's best if it doesn't. Must have been earth shattering for him. However, without the truth at any cost some of the best storylines wouldn't have happened. But how to tell where the line is? |

He also pushed for the truth as a constable as evidenced in MiW with Ava Moon. He's a slave to it-he just can't help but pursue it, whatever the consequences. He's so bent on pursuing others secrets in its pursuit, he doesn't know when to when to leave it. This is one of the reasons I want to see some of his own secrets exposed!

He's so bent on pursuing others secrets in its pursuit, he doesn't know when to when to leave it. This is one of the reasons I want to see some of his own secrets exposed! I have to say, I love this as one of William's fatal flaws. It was early on the series, and probably one of the things that got me hooked. Angst-o-rama potential. In most detective series, this drive for the truth would be framed as "good character", an unimpeachable quality.  |

oh god!!!!! i did not realise what the hell these posts were about..... then i realised.... future episodes which i havnt seen yet cos i,m in England. Ok, if i post any threads and you guys in Canada are thinking i,m a bit behind the times here, it,s because we are, i,m not sure how many episodes were behind though. so apologies if i share things which you guys have already viewed. I,m just really pleased to be part of the Murdoch fraternity and discuss things with you all. And to be honest, you all seem like a bloody nice bunch of folks. I,ve just finished my nightshift, snuggled up in bed with my two dogs keeping me warm. it,s a hard life... bloody ell!!!! I,d love to see Crabtree get a girl and keep her, it,s about time he had some luck in the romance department.

The founder of this forum is British, and I'm worried we've actually tipped the forum toward the Canadian side because British viewers aren't getting to see the episodes as soon. Just to give you a point of refernce, WLB is episode 807 and Shipwreck, the last new episode shown here in Canada, is 815. We will get a new episode this coming Monday. Perhaps the easiest way to avoid spoilers is for you to post your comments for a particular episode under the thread that already exists for it. Scroll down the main page to the Episodes section, choose season 8 then you'll see the thread for the episode you just watched. No worries about repeating anything. We can get very long winded and run off on tangents but we are always happy to share your enthusiasm! Your post will show up as new for us in that thread.
