I went to Toronto ages ago. Back when I was a teenager. I think I was about 15. But if you come for a MM event, you will meet some really cool people!!

Really? It's prettier than Montreal? That's the one that always gets the tourist fanfare in the US. Quebec City is much more French than Montreal. When we visited both cities two years ago, I found I used more French in Quebec than in Montreal. Both cities are gorgeous though, and lizmic is right about the food! That is sad news about the Unionville fire. That is a really nice little town that has tried to preserve some of its history. Toronto seems bent on bulldozing its history into oblivion. Oooh - what's the weather like compared to Montreal? *makes imaginary travel plans*

Quebec City is much more French than Montreal. When we visited both cities two years ago, I found I used more French in Quebec than in Montreal. Oooh - what's the weather like compared to Montreal? *makes imaginary travel plans* Quite similar......maybe a bit colder in the winter, but not much........the thing with Quebec City is that, since much of the city is at the top of a 300 ft cliff, there can be an appreciable temperature difference between Upper Town and Lower Town.....both are a lot colder than Toronto in the winter and about the same in the summer, with Spring arriving a bit later and Fall a bit earlier.....as Hodge mentioned earlier, the Fall colours in both Ontario and Quebec are spectacular.......
