I think there's another thread on this, but I've lost track. I wanted to remind myself of appearances of art in MM. It seems like until Season 8, art was usually a stealth opportunity for William to indulge in porn (after scolding George away from it, lol).
- Body Double (William "admires" painting on wall after waving George away) - The Green Muse (The decadent artist, the painting of the murdered courtesan). - This One Goes to Eleven (The Bathsheba, and the infamous "Landscape") - In the Altogether (return of "the Landscape"...also some naughty postcards) - Staircase to Heaven (sculpture) - Murdoch au Natural (Julia's painting) - Lovers in a Murderous Time (an artist was a key to the mystery) - On the Waterfront - Inspector B is a painter (painting appears throughout the season). - Glory Days (Julia distressed by Catholic religious images). - All that Glitters (Inspector B sells his painting)
*Julia's painting also appears in William and Julia's hotel room throughout Season 8.

I did not notice Julia's painting in their hotel room! That's a nice find!
I really enjoy the art they have in the show! I love art myself so it's been a lot of fun. Probably my favorite is the "Landscape" that Sally gives William, it cracks me up every time.
