Hi everyone! I stumbled upon this forum a few months ago and didn't have time to join then forgot how to find it again. Anyhow, I just wanted to introduce myself...I'm Tanya, from Nova Scotia and I LOVE MURDOCH MYSTERIES!! Whoever started this forum should be very proud. Its very well done and there seems to be a really great group of people here. Love the threads, discussions and friendly banter. Anxiously awaiting season 9. Oh, Im a Gemily fan all the way so all you haters will have to put up with me. haha

Welcome, Tanhere.......where in Nova Scotia? Thanks lizmc! I'm from Cape Breton. I've been there.....flew into Sydney and went through the Fortress of Louisbourg........I was there with an Aussie friend who was intrigued about seeing the "other" Sydney......beautiful part of the country.

We've also done the other end, west of Halifax. We used to go to Hubbards and Wolfville for the Atlantic Theatre Festival which is unfortunately now no more.

My family toured NB, PEI and NS about 10 years ago, where I learned that lobster should be eaten cold (with an Alexander Keith's) and that seafood chowder is delicious! Cape Breton is spectacular, lucky you. We can agreen to disagree about Gemily. I'm squarely in the Gedna camp and I'm very disappointed that Lillian Moss apparently missed her boat to join Mrs. Pankhurst in England. We have loads of fun discussing anything and everything so jump in anytime. The episode threads get new posts all the time particularly since we have to rely on reruns to get us through the summer. Would love to hear your thoughts.

I remember Nova Scotia having some very nice craft beers.....found a pub in Halifax with 60 beers on tap......I was in heaven.....
Maybe Lillian did make the voyage, but managed to piss off Mrs. Pankhurst too.........

I can see you in 7th heaven with that many beers on tap. I'm surprised you made it out of the pub!!! Don't you want to be a fly on the wall for their first encounters, assuming Lillian went to check things out? That woman could piss of a rock.
