I agree. He was certainly a big name around town at the time of Murdoch. He must have been a big dreamer too: he built a castle in Toronto! I was there with some friends a couple of years ago for afternoon tea in the solarium. It was simply gorgeous. While doing a tour of the interior I asked one of the site directors if Murdoch Mysteries had ever filmed there, and he said he didn't think so. If that is the case, they are missing out on some beautiful rooms, and grounds, right in the heart of Toronto.

I would love to see them film inside. I found it interesting n our tour of Parkwood (Pendrick mansion) that several significant pieces there came were purchased during the sale of Casa Loma.

Now i remember you telling me that. It is surprising that more scenes are not shot there.
