Talk about a whirlwind!!! Chock a block full of inventions, US Canada relations, gotchas, Rebecca back story and romance. The props were out of this world. Craig Grant deserves awards for this one.
The Pendrick Bullet even had a cameo. Too bad it can't be driven anymore. I think we were some of the last people ever to be in it!!
i'll definitely need to watch it again to pick up on all the future refs...it was just one after another. these steam punk eps are the best! the more ridiculous the better! oh so THAT'S why they didn't show murdoch sitting in pendrick's lap as they raced to mississauga road. but seriously, loved the continuity all the way back from s2 with the book and murdoch's middle name being used. though the mystery itself wasn't much of a mystery imo. i thought it was pretty obvious that clegg would once again be behind the almost attack...especially when they showed the colourful stomach contents. and does meyers always act so dumb, or did this ep take the cake? or should i say, take the rocket pop? I agree there wasn't much to the mystery but I just don't care because everything else was so over the top fabulous.

That alleyway reminded me of the one in "Murdoch in Ragtime" i think it WAS the same one...they only have so much set...and it was probably supposed to be a throwback to their last dalliance The alleyway: Front Rear - the alleyway is opposite the green doorway.

Loved William's reaction when he thought Julia was telling him off at the end and then her retort, and we all know what happened next!

I don't know if anyone else experienced this as I don't want to read spoilers til I've watched the episode- but on CBC's website they uploaded Murdoch Air for tonight's episode instead of 24 Hours Til Doomsday. I thought it was pretty funny. I was so confused as to why William would be having that wedding dream again LOL

This is the first spoiler/sneak peak video I've watched as I told myself to wait for January and not spoil it but eeek! If this is the sort of Jilliam scenes we get then I am SO excited for Jan. Dark corners Jilliam ... most risqué.

Not the best episode, but entertaining enough. I'm kind of hoping what happened means Meyers and Clegg are dead. It's not realistic that Meyers could survive without a suit to get back to earth and Clegg can't keep avoiding the noose.
So Rebecca does only have some formal education, at least now she can get more with Julia's help.
W/J were as adorable as ever. I love how geeky they are and how Julia is as excited by science as William is.

No, the mystery wasn't the greatest, but it did keep me guessing for a while, anyway. I just love Pendrick and am so happy he and William are developing a friendship, since he is one of the few people who shares the same interests in science and the future, although William keeps getting it wrong (and George gets it right!! ) That would be a great social connection for Jilliam. The references came fast and furious, and I will have to watch again to catch them all. Very good writing, I thought. PropMonkey is a god! I hope the rest of the season is like this.

That alleyway reminded me of the one in "Murdoch in Ragtime" It's the backlot. You've seen it in many different ways. The Alley of Eternal Return?

And don't forget Climate Change....
I know I shouldn't have giggled as Myers took off, but I did.......
I hope that's not the last we see of Meyers but I'm thinking it is. Nooooooooooooooooooo...!!!

Necco wafers? Blech! Tums taste better than those... And Clegg is from Boston...heh, figures. Loved William's face when he saw the suits so excited...and how he was ever so slightly freaking out while he was flying...only to give James a big 'ol man hug and be excited again that he actually flew. Actually, William, you flew again. You've already flown once, sweetie! Interesting that the only other person he's been that emotional and affectionate with is Julia... But heh, William doesn't want his wife to know of his exploits-he thought she'd box his ears after she has her way with him back in their suite. But she surprised him... That final scene perfectly encapsulates exactly what was missing last season...loved it! I also loved James' comments along the lines of about how he certainly knew how to fall for women who were bad for him...for all his genius, his fatal flaw seems to be women. Interestingly, I can see where William has the same flaw, but he got lucky in the sense that Julia doesn't mean him harm. I'm torn on this issue-I'm not overly thrilled with the trope that male genius can only be brought down by a bad woman, but it's also interesting in how a great man/venture/enterprise can be destroyed by a single woman... Unfortunately, I think that might be the last of Meyers...
