Talk about a whirlwind!!! Chock a block full of inventions, US Canada relations, gotchas, Rebecca back story and romance. The props were out of this world. Craig Grant deserves awards for this one.
The Pendrick Bullet even had a cameo. Too bad it can't be driven anymore. I think we were some of the last people ever to be in it!!
oh so THAT'S why they didn't show murdoch sitting in pendrick's lap as they raced to mississauga road. but seriously, loved the continuity all the way back from s2 with the book and murdoch's middle name being used. Heh heh heh. But Prop Monkey told me that when I was in the Bullet that it was the first time that two people had ever been in it at the same time. Loved the season 2 continuity and the reference to the middle name. Also loved how Julia totally had her way with him and no doubt made him pay for not bringing her along to the fun. Seriously though, this was a fun episode! I enjoyed it. A but ridiculous, but I think that's a nice thing to have every once in a while. Someone else described it as a fun romp, and I agree, it was! Loved the OTT Steampunkiness!

I hope that's not the last we see of Meyers but I'm thinking it is. And of Clegg........but we still have Pendrick and Laurier..... I was sad to see Meyers go...I kinda laughed, and was like "oh, no!" at the same time. It would have been funnier if had been Clegg!

dominoes (we should really get an emoji for that on this site) or netflix and dominoes WIN!!!!!! But seriously, what's a more MM way of phrasing that? Science and dominoes perhaps? CBC has just come out with a bunch of emojis that include the 5 main characters (includes Emily). Perhaps we could persuade them to add a domino one. They're supposed to be available for use on the computer as well as smartphone, eventually....

S & M When they said 'project D had been activated' I just about fell out of my chair....but they weren't wrong, given how the ep ended.

The only steam punk ep I didn't much care for was the digger one. Somehow that still seems more implausible than anything else (with maybe the pole episode excepted), including the rocket. Maybe it's just cuz Pendrick didn't build it...I don't know. Anyway, the main reason Pendrick's inventions are always doomed to fail is cuz it would be historically inaccurate. Don't know what happened with the movie venture, but I gather that was a dud in Canada - like space exploration ended up in the future, probably cuz of his rocket. And I guess Charlotte either became an american movie star or she went complete cra-cra so he ditched her too. Actually, I wonder if that's kind of the joke...that BECAUSE of Pendrick's inventions getting destroyed early on, Canada was always behind everyone else in innovation.

But there might be a domino one already. I don't have a smartphone, so I wouldn't know.

Not the best episode, but entertaining enough. I'm kind of hoping what happened means Meyers and Clegg are dead. It's not realistic that Meyers could survive without a suit to get back to earth and Clegg can't keep avoiding the noose. So Rebecca does only have some formal education, at least now she can get more with Julia's help. W/J were as adorable as ever. I love how geeky they are and how Julia is as excited by science as William is. Really? I thought this episode was very imaginative and well written. No, the mystery wasn't the greatest, but it did keep me guessing for a while, anyway. I just love Pendrick and am so happy he and William are developing a friendship, since he is one of the few people who shares the same interests in science and the future, although William keeps getting it wrong (and George gets it right!! ) That would be a great social connection for Jilliam. The references came fast and furious, and I will have to watch again to catch them all. Very good writing, I thought. PropMonkey is a god! I hope the rest of the season is like this. I thought the storyline was too similar to other episodes in the past, so it felt a little repetative for me. I'm more about the mystery and not the occasional spy episode. I've never been a particular fan of Meyers of his episodes tbh.

For me it kept reminding me of these episodes: The Annoying Red Planet / I, Murdoch / The Tesla Effect / Confederate Treasure / War on Terror / Murdoch Air / Murdoch and the Cloud of Doom / Journey to the Centre of Toronto / The Spy Who Came Up to the Cold. And it also reminded of the Infernal Device web series. I don't think it was a bad episode, it was entertaining. I just didn't think it was a great episode, though it had some really good moments. Talking of The Infernal Device web series, I guess we can now say it wasn't really a part of the show as Meyers and George didn't seem like they'd worked closely together and they made no reference to the events.

I agree I thought this was a delightful episode with so much to enjoy except Meyers and Clegg both gone how sad. Some of my favorite scenes involve both of them. However, much Pendrick left to explore and we never did find out what's up with the Svetlana leg thing. I really think Clegg will be back after all he ended up Ambassador even though he was run out of Canada before. He has eyes on Canada as the next colony for the US. I cannot see how Meyers could come back but I hope he does. I think Rebecca is going to be very interesting for Julia. Maybe that is why there was so much about her being tired last episode so she can get an assistant. And so on and so on and so on. I love this show.

I don't know if anyone else experienced this as I don't want to read spoilers til I've watched the episode- but on CBC's website they uploaded Murdoch Air for tonight's episode instead of 24 Hours Til Doomsday. I thought it was pretty funny. I was so confused as to why William would be having that wedding dream again LOL Insane that too. I thought at first it was a flashback. Then I realized it was the first flight by William and James.

I have every episode ion disk and have watched them many times. The closest to me is the one where James and William flew over Horseshoe Falls. That was is not even close. I think these episodes are a great vehicle for Williams applied physics addiction. I loved him doing the math while everyone else contemplated the end of the world LOL.
