Has anyone come up with a drinking game yet? I was trying to decide what would work. At first it was going to be "What have you xxxx" but that's not said enough. I'm thinking about every time someone said "Sir" but that might be too much. Any takers?

Every time the inspector swears, or loses his temper, you down a shot of whiskey.

Hmmm. Well, there's the badge reveal (or the attempt, if Murdoch is in full civvies). Perhaps any mentions or consumption of alcohol (naturally). That's just off the top of my head, as my new trainee has just arrived.

One of the MMAS gang has created a set of bingo cards that we play at viewing parties. Loads of fun!
We don't have to limit ourselves to just one trigger for a shot. Maybe we could have a couple for each of the main characters that all qualify. Examples:
William - "What have you ______", or he identifies himself as Det. Murdoch or Toronto Constabulary Julia - morgue humour or she says "William" George - has a creative theory, says "Sir" or "Higgins!" Brackenreid - "Bloddy Hell!", "Murdoch!" or has a drink William and Julia - every kiss!
Lizmc is right, we'd be plastered in no time!

Not bad, but there should also be provision for attempts (interrupted kiss attempts, for example) and inadvertent ones (incidental badge reveals, like Murodch shedding his wet coat in "Stairway to Heaven" or the badge peeping out at the painting exhibition early in "This One Goes to Eleven"). I'd also add "Bollocks!" to Brackenreid's list, and a big drink those few times Murdoch does imbibe (admittedly, "The Green Fairy" could leave us feeling as hung over as William did).

I would agree that an action has to be purposeful AND complete in order to qualify. I agree that "Bollocks" should be included. ( My favourite is "Happy Dafty" but he's only said that 3 or 4 times in the whole series. I would add Brackenreid's colourful expressions to the spreadsheet but it's already huge!)

And what about flirtatious banter?
