As per the CBC: The electrocution of an elderly groom leads Murdoch to suspect a black widow, while Crabtree meets Lucy Maud Montgomery at a writing class.
Oh, Lucy Maude Montgomery with Crabtree......that should be fun......I can see Crabtree suggesting Ann of the Red Door.....

But with your track record of calling things, you are probably right!

Oh, man - I was wondering if they'd work her in somewhere, since we're getting closer to the start of her literary career!
(Unfortunately, my... avenues for watching have both stopped working. I managed to see the Christmas special, but likely won't get anything else until Acorn gets 'em. *sigh*)

Yes, all young girls in that era wore pigtails and pinafores but MM's writers are exceptional at tying in specific Canadian references.

Margaret becomes a Wedding Planner: Well why not? After all she has experience now and with a couple that weren't particularly invested in the wedding itself, just wanted the end result.

Of course, this episode could give a whole new meaning to a desired "end result". PM also hinted that this could be a sad episode...wonder what that could possibly be...

Was this supposed to be the really sad episode? I don't recall anything about which one that was.

It's not the sad episode IMO. Yay and sigh in the same breath.
My only comment for right now is I have to reread Anne of Green Gables immediately. George's last line is BRILLIANT!!!
I quite enjoyed this episode. The whodunnit was a tangle. I have lots more to say but I watched the Atlantic feed so I'll wait a bit till more people have seen it.

I read the first 3 books to my kids as we traveled to and from P.E.I, N.S and N.B. many years ago. It was the first time I had read them but I don't remember details. I do remember visiting LMM's home and Green Gables though. I also agree with Maud that Cavendish IS the most beautiful place in PEI.

Yes, Dan of Green Gables was a major snort.....not to mention the Black Preying Mantis.......
Cavendish is gorgeous, as is most of PEI.....

I haven't seen as much of this diverse country as I'd like but I have to say that PEI took my breath away. We were based very near Cavendish and spent nearly a week exploring the island. The longest running production of Anne of Green Gables is still playing in Charlottetown.
