Julia seems to have an endless wardrobe. Is William like Alfred Hitchcock who had an entire closet of suits but they were all the same? Just wondering.  |

I have observed a dark brown, a light gray, a dark gray (all solid) plus another gray with a light pinstripe. In a quick Google image search I found one navy blue suit but can't remember seeing it in the show. |

I think this is a project that has your name all over it! If anyone should undertake this assignment (with photos, of course  ), it should be you. I've also noticed that as a general whole, his ties have become more conservative over the years. They were more colorful in earlier seasons. |

As I recall, in "Victor, Victorian" when George asks him how many pairs of shoes he has, Murdoch says he has two (This is when George draws his boss' attention to the number and quality of shoes in the dead Masonic novice's closet.). With that in mind, I would expect him to have a limited wardrobe. Offhand, I can recall Murdoch wearing black, brown, navy and a brown pinstripe, but I could be missing a few.

With that in mind, I would expect him to have a limited wardrobe. Offhand, I can recall Murdoch wearing black, brown, navy and a brown pinstripe, but I could be missing a few.
