This airs after MM on Mondays. I must say I'm really enjoying the show. Monday is my official TV night LOL. I never had that happen in a long time. I'm not sure what pulled me into this mini-series (I guess it's only ten episodes, boohoo)--maybe because it's a period piece set in the '30s, or that I like the concept of a gov't group dedicated to fighting the paranormal, or the two awesome female leads, or Garson, but this show has me sitting on the edge of my seat, wondering what will happen next.
I wish it was more than a mini-series. C'mon CBC, make it into a full-time series. Please!

If this is the same J&H shown on Itv in the UK then it has been cancelled after one season . Think it may be due to be being shown at teatim on a Sunday. What i saw thought it was a bit gory for that time of day. Maybe someone else will pick up.

I watched the first episode and to be honest it wasn't what I expected and I really didn't enjoy it that much. I PVR'd it as Mondays are reserved solely for MM from 7-12, didn't bother recording it again. Since I got in MM I've had a problem getting into other shows as they just don't come up to the same standards. |

At first I wasn't expecting a paranormal plot (not much for that stuff), but it really grabbed my attention. My fingers are crossed someone else will pick it up. I'm hoping the CBC will think about airing the Frankenstein Chronicles with Sean Bean. That looks really interesting, too. |
