So I know I'm a Yank and all, but I'd really kinda like to see Canadian PM Lester B. Pearson get a "before-he-was-famous" cameo, perhaps something as simple him as a small boy holding a maple leaf. This is possible, considering he was born in 1897 (and in the Toronto area, I think--correct me if I'm wrong). What about you lot: am I off-base here?

Yes, it would be possible......he was born in the part of current day Toronto known as Newtonbrook, which was a small town up near the northern boundary of present day Toronto (north of Willowdale, now considered part of Willowdale).....I don't think his family was particularly prominent, but given the sparseness of the population, they wouldn't have to be......he was from an area that was well out of the Toronto Constabulary's area, but that hasn't stopped them before......Pearson also attended University of Toronto, but, obviously that was later (after WWI-Pearson was a pilot in the RFC until he was injured and invalided out.....I believe he was hit by a car while on leave in London.....)
Also going on memory here, but I believe his father was a Methodist minister and the family moved around a lot...in fact, there is some dispute about him being born in Newtonbrook.....

Aside from all of that, there's really nothing to prevent him from coming to Toronto proper for an event (with his family), or for an investigation to lead the detective to his neck of the woods.

Could easily happen.....after all, Murdoch visited Pendrick in Willowdale...........his father could easily be a witness to something or know something about a case.....

And not just his father: more than once, small boys have discovered corpses on the show.
