It's not just the lack of a cliffhanger, but that there has been very little to no information given about the upcoming season. From what I understand the folks who went to event Saturday got to see 10x01, but no one is talking about what was said, so, I'm going with nothing of interest. I have no interest in watching the panels if they're just going to rehash the same stuff they've already said, while avoiding any speculation of what might be coming. I went....great afternoon, with panels with both actors and crew. The highlight was the screening of the first episode. I won't spoil, but I loved it.....one thing, you'll find out last season was a bit of a cliffhanger after all.......or at least, episode one is......

I went....great afternoon, with panels with both actors and crew. The highlight was the screening of the first episode. Is there a reason to rewatch the last episode of last season? |

There was lots of buzz at the event yesterday and we were rewarded......I really don't want to say much, but I don't think you'll be disappointed.....

I don't really care that there was a sneak preview-that's great that they did that for the fans. I think what Snacky and I are ultimately talking about is without speculation, there's no buzz, and this is not a good thing for the continued viability of the show. If people don't have something to drive their imaginations, they aren't speculating, and that's what drives buzz and excitement. There wasn't a cliffhanger, which is one thing, but with no spoilers, there hasn't been anything to talk about, which means that for the more casual fan, MM has dropped off the radar. I don't care what show you're talking about, any show needs buzz and publicity to compel viewers to come back. Both are in very short supply for this show right now. I'm disappointed and so are quite a few people over on Tumblr who have been trying to keep enthusiasm up over rehashing previous seasons, but it's not the same.

I'll agree there hasn't been a lot of buzz here, but there has been on Facebook and when you consider the response for tickets to this and other events, there seems to be more demand for the series than ever.....

I totally agree with you on this, they've dropped the ball this season. You need the anticipation that little tidbits from shooting give. It doesn't have to be spoilers, just something to keep the show at the forefront in people's minds as people today seem to have either very short memories or ADD. |
