This could make up for Brackenreid's absence in a couple of episodes:

I enjoyed the episode-it was fun. It was good seeing young John, and there was some nice father/son interaction there. Definitely more character growth for Brax, whom as I said before, has done the most growth out of all the characters.
Is it just me, or might this have been the most Murdoch-lite episode of the entire series? I didn't mind having Brax be the focus for once, so I'm not complaining, but still, it'll be nice to have some Jilliam working together and maybe even interacting with one another romantically. I know, I know, don't be greedy...
Remember when W and J had romantic moments together? Me too. Those were good times. Too bad it seems that after a brief return last season, that ship has sailed.
Maybe that's why Julia kept showing up at the soccer matches, first as a spectator, then as a medical advisor and even suggests that maybe they need someone full time. Perhaps she's bored and is looking for a little side action with a young hottie while William is geeking out over lightbulbs. Was William astute enough to clue in that he's in trouble? Who knows?
It was good to see Brax with an episode that he owned, and really, there's nothing I didn't like about it. I hope George gets his fairy floss, the Brackenreid's get shiny matching medals, and William gets a commemorative light bulb to keep him occupied while Julia amuses herself with a young U of T hottie who is much closer to home than the boys from Galt.
Great tie in with the current topics of athlete privilege on college campuses, and really how they're able to get away with just about anything. cough*Brock Turner* cough

I was going to mention the romantic moments or lack thereof since the wedding. I think I liked them better as star crossed lovers. It was this relationship that got me really hooked on the show and I'd like to see some of it back.

Poor John. Brackenreid sure doesn't mind his son getting hurt. How can Brackenreid and John be going to the Olympics? That is completely going against history. And does it mean Brackenreid could be missing in next week's episode.
It took me a while to figure out who the killer was, but I had done it before the reveal. Overall, a normal episode that wasn't very exciting, but it had it's funny moments.

I'm confused. Why was Nobby arrested? I didn't get that part at all.
