So, for this untutored American - this is kinda like the Oscars and Emmys rolled into one week? Sort of, without the fuss (after all, we are Canadian....) They are industry recognition, so they are very important within the industry, but they fly below the radar with most of the general public.......

Except for us Murdoch-obsessed public. *grin* Thanks for the info!

And the series has won the Golden Screen Award: I looked online last night to see if MM was up for any more awards because I'd seen a comment about being up for a "big" award but didn't see this. What exactly is it for?

Oh, I am a bit awkward about PM, I think, his horrible stupidities, which he has shown in episodes s/12+13, my dears, this is the black stain on good serie. The construct of Julias public destruction, the Murdoch uncapability, such pile of factografic and forensic mistakes and omitions, its enought. And he has taken the Mauren Jennings book 4, whed Murdoch stay before fact of death sentence for his father, which saying, he is innocent.Author overpainting it for Julia as victim, added in this one the genius of evil, made uncompetend silly from William, oh horrible. In this book the story is very complicated and William is in time press, but there is only standart criminalistic work in complicated murder, but there isnt any genial perpetrator as Gillies, its on other side the help from Sherlock Holmes and his mysterious prof.Moriarthy - genius of crime and Julia, in contradict against william father suffered in last minute, in real book, William achieve evidences for fathers exonerate evening before execution day, its certainly the more rational story. So, when P.Mitchell made this horrible construct, its no authors geniality, its desperatelly misch-match.
