I'm writing from the US so I haven't seen the entire season yet. I really miss Nina Bloom. She was truly a "modern woman" and I enjoyed watching George beginning to question his ideas about how men and women should act.
It was disappointing to see the beginning of a possible relationship come to a screeching halt - when George is hurt he cuts the cord (except for Edna).
I cannot abide Miss Cherry. I have the feeling that she's manipulating him for her own gains. He knows (for the most part) how to handle the press but she manages to spin any little thing he might say into something that makes him look foolish (like the ad for the Bloom and Crabtree Repair Shop). Someone (and I would gladly volunteer!) needs to wise him up about her.
But that's just me. It's 4:45 a.m. and I haven't slept in 24 hours (migraines and a chest cold).

I love Nina! She is a great character and good for George. I am from the US (Texas) and am so glad I found the show. I have seen season 10 and it was a remarkable season in that so many characters were written into the story. The new character in the coroner's dept is very good and has an interesting life of her own.
